Communion Neighborhood Cooperative is a mixed use concept coming to Richardson, Texas, summer 2017. We will feature a membership based coworking space, a full-service café featuring craft coffee, chef-driven menu and a curated bar program, all open to the public.

Introducing new roasters at Communion! ☕️
Palace Coffee has proudly served the Amarillo, TX area for 10+ years with three locations, and we're please to offer two of their blends in our shop. The Karimikui blend is a washed process coffee with notes of nectarine, mango, and Thai spice. La Unica has a honey anaerobic natural process with a medium silky body and notes of blackberry nougat, orange blossom.
Peregrine Coffee is a hidden gem nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Colorado. Their
Nicaragua blend is a washed process with notes of cacao nib, cinnamon apple, and sparkling grape juice. The Burundi blend is also washed with notes of satsuma orange, cinnamon, and vanilla pudding.

Meet the Communion Team!
Hey everyone, I'm Kyle! I'm from Carrollton and have worked here at Communion as a barista and manager for two years now. At any given moment, you may find me making (or actively trying to make) people laugh, making and performing music, gaming, watching basketball, climbing, hiking, birding, camping with my friends and girlfriend, or pondering the eternal enigma of existence. If I'm not doing any of those, I'm probably concocting a new syrup flavor for us to use in our drinks or dialing in a pourover! I have loved getting to know the customers and staff and am so grateful to be a part of this community. I'm an open book and can find a way to connect with anyone, which makes me a great person to have behind bar after you've had your third cup of coffee! See you soon ❤️

I'm Kinslee! My husband and I just moved to the area from Amarillo, TX, and we've loved every second of getting to know the community! We spend our time making dinner together, taking our dog for walks, exploring the city, and drinking coffee, of course! Working in coffee is something I've always loved because it gives me the opportunity to get to know people and serve them. Our Story
When we moved to Richardson, five years ago, we always felt something was missing in this city we loved so much. Early on, Tim Kahle had a vision to combine great coffee and a fun work environment. Over the course of several years, locations came and went but nothing seemed to be the right fit at the right time. Tim continued to talk to people in the community and he knew the need was growing. Then in the fall of 2016 the old auto shop on Lockwood, just off of 75 and Belt Line, came up for sale. Timing and financing lined up and we found ourselves the new owners of an old auto shop garage complete with hydraulic lifts and past service paperwork. As the design work began on Communion, we knew it was going to be a special place for Richardson to gather and enjoy great food while working with others in the community. The building allowed us to put the Café on one side with a separate side dedicated to those wanting to have an open or dedicated office area to work. Once the interior and design of the building was put together we knew this space would be a great venue for hosting public or private events.
