2018 Legends of Kung Fu World Martial Arts Championship has concluded! This year’s event was held in Tianjin, China in conjunction with the Tianjin Chin Woo’s 150th Birthday Celebration of Huo Yuan Jia.

Representatives from 17 countries were in attendance.

Events included competition, tours, a memorial service for the Chin Woo founder, grand opening of Tianjin Chin Woo’s new office building, tours of the Chin Woo Town and museum, and more.

We appreciate all who attended including judges, competitors, spectators, family, and friends.

The 2018 Legends of Kung Fu World Martial Arts Championship is being held in collaboration with the 150th Birthday Anniversary Celebration of our Great Grandmaster Huo Yuan Jia and Cultural Festival in Tianjin, China.

-Opening Ceremony, Tournament.
Aug 15
-Tournament, Live Drama with Kung Fu Legends Show and Banquet.
Aug 16
-Closing Ceremony and Departure

Competitions include Traditional Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Modern Wushu, and more! Competitors from over 30 countries will attend.

For those unable to join us in China, there are two other Kung Fu events coming up in April! One in Houston hosted by Sifu Erne Wu and another in Colorado by Sifu Christophe Clarke.

USA Chin Woo Federation and the US Traditional Kung Fu and Culture Federation are pleased to announce the 2018 Legends of Kung Fu World Martial Arts Championship. This event will be held in Tianjin, China on August 14-16, 2018 in collaboration with the 150th Birthday Celebration of our Late Grandmaster Huo Yuan Jia. China Tianjin Chin Woo and China Huo Yuan Jia Wushu KungFu Academy will be co-hosting this year’s event.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We would like to extend our condolences to the family and students of GrandMaster Cheng Jin Cai.

Sifu Cheng has spent decades teaching and promoting Chen Style Tai Chi and Chinese Martial Arts. He has participated in numerous associations and has been a long time supporter of the Legends of Kung Fu tournament, coming each year to perform, teach, and judge.

Our Sifu, Jimmy Wong, was out of the country when he passed away and just came back.

GrandMaster Cheng Jin Cai passed away on 11/6/2016.

We will all miss him dearly.
