Last night, the Fitness Poynters crew enjoyed an incredible evening together!

these are individuals that are not only Coach, but I have an incredible friendship with and I find that to be very important when you’re coaching someone and that is the exact reason why I never like to use the term client because we are a team‼️
We decided to take a break from our regular workout routine and treat ourselves to a delicious dinner out.

The laughter and camaraderie were infectious as we shared stories, bonded over our favorite fitness tips, and savored some fantastic food.

It was a perfect reminder of how important it is to balance hard work with moments of relaxation and fun. Cheers to many more nights like this with the best team around & hopefully more of you!

Pretty good night up in the gym with motivation from Shayla Grubb before I even went, she told me how great of one she had when she thought it wasn't going to be.
Managed to push out some descent weight.

Came home, worked on some programs, now going to hit the bed before it all begins again tomorrow.

As the first 2024 transformation challenge ends, there, results of this one or absolutely mind blowing with the amount of work that these ladies put in.
These transformations have no doubt changed their lives in more than one way, and that’s what a lot of people are missing out on if they are battling something such as obesity or other internal factors, such as hormonal, imbalances, etc.

Mentioned this a few years ago and it’s no doubt the same now w new “quick fix drugs”

I hear so many talk about losing weight by eating tiny amount of food, like 500 cals a day in some cases!

Well U can eat more than u may imagine to lose weight and eat all the way to bedtime.

500 and u are pretty much starving yourself. Prob kinda miserable and reekimg havoc on your insides.

* you can track all of your weight you push or pull, as well as track your reps performed from week to week and out to work out.

* There is a timer that will count down your rest time between your sets for you and notify you when it is time to go again.

* I have videos showing you how to perform every movement that is inside of your program. These automatically begin to play once you open up your workout for the day.

* I have other things on the app that you are able to view, such as recipes, supplement protocols that are healthy, as well as a lot of other things that are beneficial to health and fitness.

Hiking in comparison to lifting....
I'll keep it simple, just because you may lift doesn't mean hiking is going to be a breeze, well not when you do it like some of us do.
Up and down off Boulders, off trail pushing through or climbing over whatever may be in your way.

Hiking long distances, up and down steep terrain, more muscle mass than normal, it taxes you quicker, doesn't matter your cardio condition.
For me, the glutes, calves pump up first.

Positives though: Getting up and down off boulders is probably easier, dipping down between rocks is no doubt simpler.
Pulling up between rocks or climbing in general has its positives but too much leaves you taxed as well due to again, those muscle pumps that come on.

That's just a little insight to how I have saw things over the 1st 2 years of hiking almost every weekend if not another day during the week as well.

Add these to your training if your elbows are in great condition and watch your triceps blow up.

A big key to tricep work is to make sure you get a good stretch and then you push out to a full contraction.

 Do not have rotation in your shoulders. When you are working the triceps, put your elbows in a stable position and keep them there throughout the movement.

Trainer Tip Tuesday
- Seated Hamstring curls

- make sure the padding is flat against your back, all the way down to your lower back.

- you want the padding that is across your legs to be just behind your knees, laying on your quads

- Begin by pulling your feet toward your glutes, and go until you feel OK for contraction in the hamstrings, which is the bottom part of your legs.

- Slowly return all the way to the starting position and allow your hamstrings to fully stretch out

Monday Motivation ⁣
6 weeks work! ⁣

▪️So here it is. ⁣
🌀My 6 week transformation. ⁣
Wont know how I did in the contest for about a week but I won either way. ⁣
▪️Weight from 𝟐𝟒𝟑 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟐𝟒. ⁣
▪️Body fat% from 𝟐𝟑.𝟑% 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟓.𝟓% 7 point pinch test.. ⁣

▪️Not to mention my strength gains. I couldn't have done it without my coach . Hes an genius and absolute beast. ⁣

I'll tell you if you're SERIOUS about getting your health in check he's your man. ⁣
▪️If you want to half ass it and have someone sugar coat things for you save your $ and look up planet fitness or something. ⁣

He was harsh when I needed it pushed me to do better and gave me all the information I could ask for. ⁣
I'll be honest it's not easy. If it was everyone would do it. ⁣
What I can say is if you 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤 and get s**t done it's absolutely worth it. ⁣
