We are looking for experienced help with our Accounting and Administrative work here at Tektonics Design Group. The work would allow for provide flexible hours and the potential for expanded responsibilities and eventually a full-time position with our company. Did you know that when brass patinas it changes color multiple times? Clark’s been busy this week adding a patina to brass k***s for the Fern & Roby Amp No. 2!

Our setup for drill the 9/16” holes through the heads of these 330 pound, 7 foot long eyebolts at a 45 degree angle.

Another batch of isolation feet has been assembled for ! We engrave these on our fiber laser so the graphic really pops against the anodized aluminum finish.

We are starting to prove out the programming for the Main Take-Up Nuts now. These blanks weigh over 80lbs and will have a 3-3/4” - 3 Acme thread. 🔩

Yesterday we received the material for our project with VDOT. We will be making takeups for the James River lift bridge. Our team is about to be very busy! 🌉

Warmed up our Epilog Fiber laser last week to mark a little brass for our friends at Longoven 🎇

We are working on some heatsinks for DeVore Fidelity this week. After the first operation in the vertical mill they are sandblasted and then return to the vertical mill for a final operation. After that they will be anodized and laser engraved.

We have a lot of great project going on in the shop right now! The washers for VDOT are the first of many parts we are going to be making in the coming months, and it’s always nice to see DeVore Fidelity and Linear Tube Audio components. We hope everyone has a great holiday season! Stay warm! ❄️

Working hard on some parts for this week!

Recently we were able to tour the Old City Hall building that is being renovated in downtown Richmond to see our molding pieces installed. It is an amazingly detailed interior. We had a great time seeing all of the work that has been done and trying to spot our pieces among the originals!
