Wishing you a beautiful weekend. ❤️
Is it ever gonna snow or nah
Back to our regularly scheduled programming tmrw but today was special - my family came over for dinner and brought my 96 year old gram. Growing up, she’d take my brother and I for overnights at her house (she had the best movie collection and there was a VCR in the guest room 📺), and we’d take trips to the mall. She has dementia now, but some things haven’t changed - she loves dogs and she enjoyed feeding Buckles cheese today. She also always had cookies in this jar in her pantry growing up (I’ll never forget it, it was plastic with a red twist on top) and today when she saw the cookies my mom baked, she asked for one “for the road”. 😭 It was a really nice evening, and my heart is so full. 💫 ❤️

I keep wanting to say sorry for the wedding spam but I’m not sorry 😅😅😅😅 But this will be the last batch for a while bc it is time to get back to business as usual….
1) beyond grateful to for all the photos and especially this one with my big baby Buck.
2) walking w my dad and Buck, I was so emotional. It was so quiet except for the magical song produced for me, so Buckles wasn’t at all stressed - I’m not even sure he knew people were there until the very end of the aisle when he stopped to say hi to my aunt.
3) my love
4) love you but microbend your knees, babe
5) few days before the wedding I was like heyyyy let’s write our own vows - so glad we did.
6) so glad we went with for our photo booth
7) don’t forget it 😂
8/9/10) thank you for lining up the best songs to dance the night away
Heart still exploding. ❤️
Back to work, but first, a couple more. 😅
Yesterday was beautiful. Here are some getting ready pics from the incredible .
1) was pretty calm all day up until about this moment when the nerves kicked in. the shuttle was running late bussing people in and I was anxious to get the show on the road
2) 😍
3) I spent weeks trying to find the perfect earrings and was so happy I finally settled on the perfect pair. But to no one’s surprise, I forgot them at home and only realized ten min before the ceremony. We tore about my bags hoping to find them but no luck. After we sent someone racing to my house to look in my bathroom, I found them buried at the bottom of my toiletry bag. I know none of that stuff *really* matters but ooo - The relief!
4) I stole a minute to myself in front of the mirror and got so emotional. did an incredible job on both make up, and when my hair stylist cancelled a few hours prior to the wedding, she also crushed the hair. I absolutely loved how I looked.
5) I love this guy’s smile
6) right before getting the text that it was time for me to get to the aisle 💫
Woke up at 3am to hit NYC’s flower district with , we were done by 6 and went home thinking: how hard can it be to arrange some flowers?!
Lololol
Narrator: it was very hard.
7 hrs later we are almost done🙌🏼
It’s wedding prep this week so I’m a little MIA getting things ready, and may be spamming you w wedding content soon, but we will be back to regularly scheduled stuff soonish. Love yews 😘
Save this for post workout or end of day chill out sesh and lemme know how you feel!
So many people have questions about recovery tools so listen up because I have something that should help! As the newest member, I partnered up with to share some great tips on muscle recovery (including how to release those hard-to-reach muscles), plus showing what I carry in my gym bag on the newest Expert Series episode. Check it out now on their YouTube channel now - link in bio - and let me know what you think!
If you’re working on balance, try this! I’m using a Helm bar from but a pvc pipe or stretching stick could work as well. 🙌🏽 hey friends have you been working on your balance because you're feeling a little wobbly lately? if so, take your shoes off so you can have a better connection to the floor and grab this Bosu Helm bar - or a PVC pipe or stretching stick could work, too.
to start, shift your weight to one foot, send the hips back, add a twist, and then stand up and press the helm overhead before shifting to the other side. the key is to think: hips back, core strong, chest proud, shoulders back.
if you start feeling more confident in it, add a hop. the key here is to think: land quietly - this will help to better recruit your core. you may land and feel wobbly but keep going - you don't have to land perfectly still! the readjustments in the wobbly land mean your muscles are working to stabilize. this is great for core, glutes, hamstrings, thoracic spine mobility, and upper back.
hope you enjoy!
How it’s going vs how it started 💪🏽
Whewwwww look at that shoulder from 2013 😬 I took a step back from the asana practice for a while to focus on strength training to balance out the hyper mobility I had thru my joints. In the first pic the improvement in alignment is due to a more stable shoulder girdle, improved ability to recruit the core properly, and overall strength (I mean, right down to the forearms! It’s wild!) The body is so cool.
I’ll be hosting two live coached workouts today at 1pm and 3pm est. The 1pm will best serve yogis struggling w tweaky low backs, or anyone working on foundational strength or working around injury. The 3pm is more fitness based and best for people currently without injury who are ready to be lovingly challenged. I kick both off with a little anatomy lecture so you can learn some cool stuff and at the end we will have time for fitness and postural related Q&A. Link in bio - hope you’ll join!
