A little about Mochi, she was an adorable rescue when she first came into her family’s life. She’s super sweet, loving, and has filled her home with so much joy for some time now. 🫶🏼

I wanted to start this week off right by taking a moment to appreciate the personal growth journey here at .

Here we have Declan the Yorkie/Maltese mix, with a pic where he was groomed a few years back (right pic), and one of his most recent grooms on the left pic. It’s crazy how at times we don’t realize how much our style of doing things change until you look back at photos. 📸 ✨I truly hope this may inspire ANY groomer out there who may be feeling like they’ve become stagnant. Because when you do, just take a moment to look back to when you first started all the way up to now!!! 💪🔥

I know social media is filled with many talented people in the grooming industry. At times we tend to compare ourselves to others too much, but just know that that’s when we should feel the most inspired. I know i do! And of course don’t ever forget that life is all about enjoying our own unique personal journey, because that will always set you apart. So here’s your sign to keep going!!! 😊💗

Let’s talk about something serious, NAILS!!! 🧐

Long, unkempt nails not only look unattractive, but over time they can do serious damage to your dog (not to mention your floors). When nails are so long that they constantly touch the ground, they exert force back into the nail bed, creating pain for the dog (imagine wearing a too-tight shoe) and pressure on the toe joint. Long term, this can actually realign the joints of the foreleg and make the foot looked flattened and splayed.

If you’ve made it this far, I’m sure you’re wondering how often your pet’s nails should be done. The answer is.. every 2-4weeks(max)!

Friendly reminder, to always leave the nail trimming up to the professionals (vet or groomer) if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself. Trimming too far into the nail can cost you a vet visit if you’re not able to stop bleeding at home.
