12/26/23 14:37 Scan neg. Dog was reported injured with possible broken leg. On intake dog is not using pelvic limbs, able to support full weight on front limbs. Placed in floor to see if able to walk, dog was able to place some weight and moving back leg very gingerly. Very painful on palpation and extension. Bruising and swelling on left inguinal aspect, small abrasion on left hock. Unable to take radiographs (x-ray machine currently non-operational). Admin Rimadyl 50 mg/ml: 0.68 ml sq. Simbadol 0.20 ml IM. Will monitor mentation, ability to urinate and defecate. Rx Rimadyl 75 mg 0.5 tab po sid x3d. Rx Simbadol 0.17 ml IM.

⛑️Medical Notes; 12/28/23 13:21 Dog is BAR, fightened, hiding in kennel. Able to ambulate but only is willing to take a few steps before lying down. Heart and lungs auscultate normally, vitals WNL,
Abdomen has bruising around sc***um. Medial side of left limb has superficial abrasions. Applied vetericyn spray.
Suspect dog has pelvic injuries ( radiology not currently available). Recommend rescue when available for further diagnostics. Extend meds if still in shelter past due out date.
12/31/23 10:31 BAR, frightened in kennel. Per previous DVM note okay to extend meds since dog is still in shelter with suspected pelvic injuries. RX: Simbadol 0.17cc IM BID x 3 days, Rimadyl 75mg 1/2 tablet PO SID x 3 days.
