When clients come and ask how hot should my iron be? 450 degrees is definitely not for every hair type, specially not for bleached hair ✨hair even when it’s lightened safely becomes sensitized and needs special care to be able to stay healthy. Using the correct products at home including heat protection and the right heat setting is crucial! Heat can break hair over time or immediately depending on your hair and the setting you have your iron on. Sometimes I hear ( my hair doesn’t grow ) it’s not that it doesn’t grow, it breaks at the ends high heat can cause that. We all remember the you tube video of the hair melting off 🤦🏻‍♀️ what questions do you have? Do you want a heat protection spray , cream or oil recommendation? The million 💵 question 🙋🏻‍♀️ Is Dirty hair better when I go get it colored??
The answer is NO 🚫🙅🏻‍♀️👎🏼 why not?

* Dirty hair has natural oil and product buildup.
* Making it harder for the color or bleach to break down the above mentioned.
* Gray is harder to cover making it more resistant.
* Achieving the lightest blonde will also be harder, keeping you 1/2 to 1 level darker than if you would have showed up with clean hair.
