Founded in 2010, the Inland Empire Immigrant Youth Collective creates a safe space for immigrant youth to express themselves and achieve their full potential.
The Inland Empire - Immigrant Youth Coalition (IE-IYC) is a grassroots undocumented youth-led organization founded in 2010. We are committed to creating a safe space for immigrant youth regardless of legal status, race, gender, sexuality, educational background and other intersections that are crucial to the undocumented identity.
Starting today, November 1, 2024, DACA recipients can access discounted health insurance through Covered California!
On May 3rd, 2024, the Biden administration announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, finalized a rule that would expand access to health coverage for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients. So if you have DACA, are uninsured, and do not qualify for medical, be sure to contact Covered California to find what insurance coverage plan is best for you!
DACA holders now qualify for affordable coverage options from top providers like Kaiser, Anthem Blue Cross, and Aetna. 🏥✨

We've been chosen to receive a $100K grant from the WES Mariam Assefa Fund as part of the Elevating Migrant Leadership: Building Inclusive Futures initiative! 🥳 The IEIYC is joining 9 organizations amplifying the voices and influence of and in communities across the US! With this funding, we will launch our very own Immigrant Youth Fellowship for first-generation undocumented youth to develop skills and explore careers in social justice in the Inland Empire! We're excited to support the leadership development and expansion of professional opportunities for immigrant and undocumented youth here in our community. 🫶
