Inland Empire - Immigrant Youth Collective

Founded in 2010, the Inland Empire Immigrant Youth Collective creates a safe space for immigrant youth to express themselves and achieve their full potential.

The Inland Empire - Immigrant Youth Coalition (IE-IYC) is a grassroots undocumented youth-led organization founded in 2010. We are committed to creating a safe space for immigrant youth regardless of legal status, race, gender, sexuality, educational background and other intersections that are crucial to the undocumented identity.

Starting today, November 1, 2024, DACA recipients can access discounted health insurance through Covered California!

On May 3rd, 2024, the Biden administration announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, finalized a rule that would expand access to health coverage for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients. So if you have DACA, are uninsured, and do not qualify for medical, be sure to contact Covered California to find what insurance coverage plan is best for you!

DACA holders now qualify for affordable coverage options from top providers like Kaiser, Anthem Blue Cross, and Aetna. 🏥✨

⏳ Enrollment is open for 60 days, and coverage can begin as early as December 1. Visit coveredca.com or call (800) 300-1506 to get started.
🩺 Health coverage is a right, and we're here to ensure our immigrant communities get the care they deserve!

The Inland Empire has been ranked as the worst air quality in the nation!

This is due to the boom in warehouse developments that contribute to the poor air quality & health risks in our region.

This election we have the opportunity to vote and ensure that our air quality is of priority to elected officials.

Throughout history, BIPOC communities have created their own systems of support to sustain collective well-being. This included cultural traditions, language, stories, food, art, and more. That’s why it’s important to continue creating welcoming and inclusive spaces where community can feel seen and heard and connect through their lived experiences.
