Highlanders, heads up! We will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. You'll still be able to access our online resources at library.ucr.edu, but both libraries will be closed. We'll reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at 7:30 a.m.

One of our notable collections is our Water Resources Collection & Archives (WRCA). This collection documents water-related issued in California and the western United States. It includes technical reports, publications, historical and aerial photos, maps, and more. The image in the post is from the collection and titled, ‘Los Angeles Aqueduct, San Fernando Dam during construction’.

2️⃣Select your device, then swipe your R’Card and log in.
3️⃣Use the device ANYWHERE on or off-campus for up to 24 hours. When done, return the device to the kiosk.

Before there was UC Riverside, there was the UC Citrus Experiment Station (CES). CES opened on February 14, 1907 and was a research station where botanists, plant pathologists and other plant scientists conducted research on citrus and other types of plants. The original structure now houses UCR's A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management.
