Another day done with school 🥵 I've enrolled to a super Accelerated Nursing program and I'm battling each day trying to get 5hrs sleep+ do well in school + seeing my lovely Floridian Flair babes 🥰 I'd love to let y'all know that I'm missing you, missing our conversations, and connection I always have with you- those I haven't seen for awhile. I’m just going to say it. I believe in washing lashes extensions every day with an ideal lash shampoo (mild formula, no oil, no burning) is a MUST for aftercare.

If you are like most of my clients you’ve done a good amount of research on what to expect from your lash appointment both during and after. There is so much conflicting information about washing your lashes everyday that it can make you dizzy! I’ve been doing lashes for 9+ years and I’ve tried all of the ways to keep the lashes clean and last long at the same time, from all of my mentors and colleagues. Here is what I found works best for my clients. I’m not saying I won’t discover something better in the future but here is what is working best now.

I have my clients do lash washing everyday with our special shampoo at home for only 2min before, during or after shower and they come back with the same lash retention or better lash retention compared to when they don't wash every day ☺️

I have decided to advise my clients to do so because we live in a humid climate (Florida), our lashes tend to be greasy and without washing it away, the glue will be loosened resulting lash falling early.

Again, my colleagues down the street or around the country might do it differently for the after care but after thousands services that I've been giving, I’ve found this to be the strategy that gives my clients the absolute best results imaginable on lash retention.

How do I know? Because, by far, the most common question I hear from clients and people who are interested in microblading/microshading is "Would I look ridiculous with very dark eyebrows?" Julie has been in the cosmetic field for over 8 years. She finds herself really good at detail work such as nails, brows shaping, and LASHES. However, seeing the beauty in her clients face enhance dramatically with lashes made her decide to work full time as a lash tech. Lashing is not easy but she's always willing to put in the work, learning, and researching; especially when it gives such beautiful results. It does build passion in her and motivates her to take more training and now she is proud to be here as a professional lash artist.
