Being called back out to help this incredible group of friends, that hang out and play every year, relax.
But first they wanted to do the trademark pose - where the Unicorn Yoga name originated. The Mu**er F*ing Unicorn. Giggle.

I’m leading this class on Sunday! It’ll be different than my normal class. It’ll be a super slow flow with a lot of restorative. You’re going to leave feeling nice and relaxed. 🙏
Approach the holiday with ease and join us for a special Christmas Eve Candlelight Yoga class. This all-levels class will be approachable for everyone, complete with a gentle asana flow, soft candlelight and soothing music. We will work with breath and movement in order to help you ground and center followed by a juicy savasana to lift your spirits.

You know… I still feel out and get excited when I seen the awesomeness of change in a body.
Today my private client had a significant spine curve causing the hip on her left side to almost be 4 inches different. When she was in child’s pose at the beginning she didn’t like it and it was her normal fave. (Other than sivasana) at the end she was happy in the pose.
When we were done… it was even to the visable eye.
Crazy!!!!
I wish the shirt was even on both pictures.

I went back to help these girls relax after a few days of learning survival skills and hiking our beautiful area. The first treat was seeing how excited they were to see me come back. And this was the first time I led yoga nidra (deep relaxation) for this age group. I was so tickled that they were able to fully sink in and feel the whole experience. One even asked for a recording so she could do it again. This is when you know you had an impact. 🦄❤️🧘♀️

Y’all. Life has gifted me some amazing people. One of them is a powerhouse of a woman, Dina Imbriani, who owns Mountain Shepherd Adventure School. She told me she has a group of women who met there and come back each year and they want yoga. Of course they needed some Unicorn love.
Oh my goodness what fun we had!!!
The weather even worked with us and began to rain just at the right time for savasana.

It’s about being better in your body
Yoga isn’t about striking the best pose. One of the best things about it is getting to know your body and understanding what it needs. Learning to be kind and patient with myself is the best lesson I have learned (and am still learning) from yoga. And why not have fun doing it?
