As a thank you to you guys for continuing to keep me working, I will be running my Spooky Season raffle again this year! Booking flash or a spooky/witchy custom design for the months of September and October will automatically enter you to win this Cathedral Bug! He is a large design at a minimum of 9in tall and will be a free full day session for the winner! (Swipe right to check him out!) Had a wonderful time tattooing this little guy from my flash today! Although, I can honestly say it’s always a little scary when a tattoo may outlive a species! If you didn’t know, Axolotls are considered critically endangered despite thousands being kept in captivity. In the wild they face human destruction of habitat as well as pollution. As they are only native to the Mexican lakes; Xochimilco and Chalco this places them at high risk for extinction outside of captivity! This piece was to represent the life altering changes my client went through in her hibernation period deep under ground in rural canada over the last 13 years… KIDDING! It’s just a sick li’ll Cicada she set me loose on today! Hopefully that was at least a mildly entertaining caption! 😂🤘🏼😁

Started this piece around a year ago, some healed some fresh, waiting to have it all healed to get pics of the whole piece looking consistent, but this area was mostly fresh so I snagged a pic! 🍄🐸🍄‍🟫
