Gamers burn calories while playing and need to tap pan for refueling (pre, during, and post) play. This is true for esports matches as well as practice and even ranked/soloQ. I estimate most gamers under-consume. Nutrition is possibly the most underrated variable impacting esports performance.

Mind Body Medicine addresses the root causes preventing gamers and teams from feeling..and thus performing, optimally.

Performance initiatives often poorly consider individual needs, putting a gamer into a cycle where the performance feels to be built upon a lack of wellness. In these scenarios, gamers may not trust their teammates when faced with struggles. Resilient gamers and teams require holistic support and wellness interventions. Gamers are people before performers. Addressing performance anxiety and other performance-related aspects without considering individual needs will erode self-confidence and trust.
