With the summer months coming up and very busy family plans my hours will be changing slightly.
**If you already have an appointment booked it will stay as is and I will be reaching out to you for any changes**
Starting in JUNE 2:00pm & 3:15pm appointments will be available Monday-Thursday with occasional Friday and Saturday mornings offered and posted here and on my booking site. For those of you looking for a later time some 4:30’s may be offered as well. If I am able to add in any other booking times in addition, they will be posted on my booking site. You are always more than welcome to fill out a waitlist request by selecting an appointment and clicking on “Join Waitlist” to enter specific days/dates and times that you’re looking for in the notes section. I appreciate you all very much. ☀️

Cayden John surprised us with an early arrival on January 22nd. We have a happy and healthy mama, baby, and daddy. Callie doodle has already been the best big sister for our sweet baby boy.

We are beyond blessed to have him in our lives. 💝

PLEASE NOTE: maternity leave is in full effect! Online booking has been turned off completely and will be active at a later date. Despite all of the updates posted I still have been receiving messages asking if I am available. I am not trying to ignore requests, but I will more than likely not be responding to any of these messages while preparing for and taking care of a baby.

Once I have things figured out for what my 2023 schedule will look like I will be sending out an email and updates with an updated online booking site background with availability for April. These updates will come as I figure them out sometime in late February-March. Please be patient and only reach out *as soon as possible* if you are looking for a massage therapist if I have not yet referred you to one.

Online booking will be open through December 28, 2022. As of now, I will be taking waitlist requests during the first 2 weeks of January. You can get on the waitlist by booking an appointment online as you would normally, and then clicking on the “waitlist” option that you’ll see below the calendar. In your request, please include specific dates/times/service that you are looking for- Mon, Tues, Weds, Fri ONLY.
At this time I have planned to take maternity leave through the end of March. Online booking will be available for the month of April at a later date while I’m on maternity leave. Please note- my 2023 schedule will be very limited to late afternoon/early evenings and some services may only be available upon request.

Just a little update for everyone— 21 weeks and growing! 🍼💙

Starting December 22 — baby boy’s arrival sometime towards the end of January I will have a very limited schedule with online booking. I will be taking time off during February and March for maternity leave and upon coming back my schedule will be limited to afternoon/evening times only. *3:30-7*

I will post another update as I get closer to the end of my pregnancy on specific booking times and available services that I will have for baby’s first year of life. Since we are choosing to not have him in daycare until Spring 2024, unless we choose to sooner, my schedule and service options will be very limited. However, I will be available Monday-Friday. On the occasion that I am able to open my schedule a little more on certain days I will post an update in advance. As always, I will still have the *waitlist* option on my online booking system that you may add yourself to for specific days/times/services.

I’ve been getting a lot of different questions lately about the marks that appear from cupping therapy so I’ve decided to share this post again from a couple years ago! Keep in mind- just like not all methods of cupping therapy are the same, neither are the massage therapist or other health practitioners that use them. I choose to use my knowledge and methods to make sure that your experience is comfortable and effective, but not painful. ✨

The most common misconception about cupping therapy is that it causes bruising.

PSA: 🗣 CUPPING MARKS ARE NOT BRUISES!

Below shows a perfect visual of the healing process of a cupping mark and a bruise. The cupping mark picture was taken 3 days post cupping and the bruise was 7 days after running into the corner of our bed frame. 😖

Bruise: Blood or bleeding under the skin due to trauma of any kind; typically black and blue at first, with color changes as healing progresses.

So what exactly is a cupping mark? 👇🏼
The vacuum formed by cupping draws up the old non-circulating stagnant blood and sticky fluids from the area, bringing them up to the surface and away from the injury so that healthy free circulation can be restored to the affected area, thus creating space for oxygen, living cells and nutrients for faster recovery.

Where there is dead, static blood, lymph, cellular debris, pathogenic factors, and metabolic waste present in the body, Cupping can leave marks which indicates that the stagnation or disease has been moved from the deeper tissue layers to the surface.

The color and pattern of the marks depend on the level of stagnation in the area, and range from a bright red to dark purple, usually lasting 3 days to a week - sometimes longer if the person is very sick or sedentary. If there is no stagnation present, there will be only a pink marking which disappears in a few minutes to a couple of hours.
