Things going on In or around India Hook, Twin Lakes and Surroundings

Good morning everyone! Im not sure if any of our neighbors have noticed the deer that stays alone. He/she comes out in my backyard during the day. He/she is always alone and I feel so bad. He/she seems to be afraid of people but she will come out and stand there for a few min. Is it normal for them to be alone alot and do deer come out in the day time like that? I wish I could help her bc I know she is so lonely. I

I just wanted to let all of our neighbors, friends and family know to pay attention around Twin Lakes area near the power lines around Penny lane our neighbor has had coyotes in her camera at night. Her cat is missing and I know she is worried that the coyotes got her baby. She brings all of her fur babies in at night and she hasn’t had this one come home in a few nights. Pls watch your animals, chickens I mean any animals. My husband and I sit on the porch at night and we had been hearing crazy screening noises about 2 weeks ago, it made my skin crawl and I ran into the house. If you have seen or heard anything around here pls let us know as well so we can make sure we protect each other in our neighborhood! Sweet dreams and prayers to all who need them! 🫶🏼🖤⚓️🙏

If u live on twin lakes the road is a little rough right now. It looks like they are repaving some of the road. I’m not sure if they are working on it this weekend but when they are working on it you may want to leave a little early bc it can be a wait especially during rush hour. I hate going around but I don’t like the way the road feels in my car I feel like I’m throwing rocks all over my car lol! I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!

💛💛 27 deer in our yard last night!!

I was going to try to have like a platform for this area. Lesslie/Catawba has a page and they inform each other of odd things going on in and around their neighborhoods. If anyone has any ideas or wants to help in anyway pls let me know. I’m going to leave it up for another week, Ill take it down if nobody seems to be interested. We live off of Twin Lakes and some guy in a Blue SUV with black tinted windows pulls into our driveway and gets out at around 7:40am and walks around my husbands truck and was looking around everywhere he asked if we needed any shirts and then left and went down to the building and about 10 min later left. I don’t know he could be trying to make shirts for people but during this pandemic people don’t seem to be going house to house at 7:40 in the morning. I just wanted to let others know that live around here. I hope y’all have a good day!

I’m sure if you live near Twin lakes road you see all the deer on this road. Yesterday at 5:30 I almost hit one. I think it was 7 that ran out also so I’m glad I stopped and looked before going again. We have neighbors who have a sunroom and we were sitting out there one evening and 7 deer crossed right by us and then 12 more came by us about 30 min later. I just want to warn those that are not aware of this. I would hate for anyone to wreck their car or hit a deer. I hope everyone is having a beautiful day! 🤗💛
