Happy Fourth of July! In observance of Fourth of July, the Catawba Nation Longhouse and other entities will be closed Thursday, July 4th, 2024. We will also be closed on Friday, July 5th, 2024 due to network updates. We will resume our current operating schedule on Monday, July 8th, 2024.

In preparation for ISWA Housing's transition to a department of CIN we will be opening around 1 pm on Monday, June 24th to attend our employee orientation. We appreciate your understanding during this transition time.

Peas join us at the Yesebehena garden boxes! Community members are invited to get out to these boxes at any time to harvest the pea plants! A special thank you to Autumn Lakin for caring for these plants.

Our Citizen Benefits department will be hosting one of the "walk-in" sessions *TOMORROW* from 10am-4pm to answer any questions you might have about the upcoming distribution, or to help fill out forms. Stop by the Longhouse lobby either day to get assistance!

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our Executive Director Angel Lowery. She was more than just a boss, she was a friend and beloved member of this community.

We will all be out of the office beginning at noon today to pay our respects to former Executive Director Angel Lowery. Please keep her family and our staff in your prayers as we all navigate this new normal.

ISWA will be hosting an Open House for one of the Lease-to-Own homes for Catawba Indian Nation Tribal Members on Oct. 21st from 10am-1pm and Oct. 25th from 4pm-7pm. This 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house will be sold for $89,000. If you are interested in participating in the Lease-to-Own program or would like additional information you can call our office at 803-366-2750. All applications must be submitted to ISWA by November 9, 2023 by 4:30 PM.

MISSING: We are still seeking information on the whereabouts of Amanda Brooke Karraker. She was last seen April 1st, at 508 New Sugaree Town Dr., Rock Hill, SC. It is believed that Amanda left between 3:00 & 7:30 p.m. after an argument. She left behind her purse, phone, & personal belongings. Amanda is known to frequent the v**e shop on Celanese Rd. in Rock Hill next to Krispy Kreme.
