North Rock Hill Students
Student Ministry of North Rock HIll Church
Last week was our last Middle School Bible Study of the summer. It’s been incredible this summer to see our high schoolers be intentional to invest in our middle schoolers and see themselves as disciple-makers
God is raising up leaders at North Rock Hill!
Shoutout to high schoolers and David Franey for teaching this week at Middle School Bible Study and Wednesday night!
This summer our high schoolers have stepped up big and taken over most of the teaching responsibilities. We love watching students become leaders!
Pray for the Myrtle Beach mission team! They are partnering with .church to help with local outreach in North Myrtle Beach
We are building a culture of discipleship in NRH Students.
We love seeing students teach other students! This week Caleb and Eben led our Middle School Bible Study and Midweek gatherings
Pray for our student mission team of 11th and 12th graders going to Europe this week!
Developing leaders requires giving opportunities to lead.
Last night, Averi taught her peers what it means to live with the awareness that God is on their side. From Isaiah 43, she showed us God is stronger than our fears and that we can trust Him.
Great job, Averi!
It’s exciting to see 50 middle schoolers show up for a Bible study at 9:00am on a Tuesday during the summer.
But it’s even MORE exciting to see one our high schoolers lead the Bible study herself.
Reagan is on our Servant Leader Team which is designed to develop students in their own spiritual disciplines and in their discipleship of other students. And she absolutely crushed it today.
Great job Reagan!
What a week.
Our students went to camp and came back changed.
Next time you see one of our students, ask them what God did in their life at camp!
The part you don’t see…
Our leaders finished the semester on Wednesday by encouraging one another and affirming the ways they’ve seen God at work in each other’s lives
Students - tag your leaders in the comments and thank them for their investment!
And that’s a wrap.
We finished our semester in worship, and with sharing her story.
See you next Wednesday for Summer Kickoff!
Midweek tonight is cancelled due to the incoming storm. Be safe!
Thank you Pastor Michael Davis and Berryhill Baptist Church!
Spring Break Mission Trip // 2024
This week, 41 students and leaders said Yes to using their Spring Break for the mission of God
In Charlotte we:
• Prayer walked through Uptown
• Shared the gospel in Uptown and UNC Charlotte
• Served 2 local churches
• Heard from a returned missionary about his time overseas
• Learned about the need to take the gospel to the unreached and unengaged people all around the world
We saw our students’ hearts break for the lost around the world, across the street, and in their classrooms. Our students are taking seriously the call to live on mission. God is at work in this generation!
Thank you to those who prayed for and supported our students along the way!
“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” (Jim Elliot)
We love seeing our students worship God and engage with His Word!
One of our students, crushed it last week teaching Philippians 2!
We love seeing God raise up leaders from among our students while we provide opportunities for ministry
We’ve been walking through the book of Philippians in a way that teaches students how to read the Bible for themselves.
A big part of discipleship is taking responsibility for your own spiritual growth, so we aim to help our students learn how to grow by reading God’s Word for themselves and seeking to understand and apply it.
Join us tonight as we continue our series through the book of Philippians! Tonight we will be in Philippians 1:12-18 and see Paul’s perspective and joy in difficult times
Last Wednesday Zane Gillespie taught from Psalm 16. Our desire is to raise up and provide opportunities for students and leaders to use their gifts to serve the church.
Join us tomorrow night as we pack bags for the homeless!
Last Wednesday .h.boatwright taught on Psalm 63, about how we can praise God even in difficult times.
We’re thankful to have an abundance of people who are equipped and eager to teach God’s Word to our students!
Tonight we are kicking off a new series called Sweeter than Honey! For the next 4 weeks, we will walk through how to study the Bible. We want students to be confident that they can know and understand God’s Word for themselves.
Another great Wednesday night!
We finished our series on Ruth, and had a surprise visit from Grandma Wilma.

Last night we celebrated Will for completing a 1-year pastoral residency at NRHC! Will has made an incredible impact in our student ministry, and in the church as a whole.
Will will remain at NRHC, leading in student ministry, as he continues coaching basketball in Rock Hill.
Say thank you to Will in the comments!
Join us tonight as we continue our series in the book of Ruth! .h.boatwright is teaching through Ruth 2, on the providence of God in the small details of our lives.
Wednesday nights are undefeated
We began our study in the book of Ruth last night, seeing the providence of God at work in every detail of life

Crossroads Summer Camp 2023 is in the books and we have so much to be thankful for! Many of our turned from their sin and trusted in Jesus to save them. Others were called into ministry. God was glorified by how our students responded this week.
And we can’t wait to see what God will continue to do in our students’ lives in the days ahead!
We love these students.
We held an optional devotional time this morning before breakfast and all of these students showed up, ready to spend time in the Bible and prayer.
Despite what you may hear, there is hope for the next generation.
