The Teaching Artist’s Forum is a one-day, in-person professional learning conference for Teaching Artists presented by the SC Arts Commission and the USC School of Music. This interactive event will be held Saturday, September 7,2024 at the USC School of Music from 9 am to 4 pm.
The focus of this year’s forum is embracing change and best practices in teaching artistry. The one-day event will include Keynote speaker, Glenis Redmond, hands-on (arts discipline specific) break-out sessions facilitate by nationally recognized artists, networking luncheon, topical information sessions and more! We hope that it will be a valuable day to learn and be in community with fellow teaching artists from across South Carolina.

This AWESOME group of educators just wrapped up the 2024 ARTS ASSESSMENT INSTITUTE last week in Spartanburg! They have now been minted "Assessment Snobs" and are taking away some great skills for use in arts classrooms across SC!!
