The survey gathers data related to five indicators that can predict important student outcomes, including improved attendance and larger test score gains. Please go to the link below. Message:
The Illinois State Board of Education has waived the testing requirement of PSAT 8/9 and PSAT 10 for current 9th and 10th-grade students as previously stated in a letter you received from the school in February. However, the requirement has not been waived for juniors. Therefore, there will be no in-person learning at Rock Island High School on April 13th due to the current 11th grade required School Day SAT administration. All classes at Rock Island High School will be offered in the total remote learning setting (no live or in-person lessons) on Tuesday, April 13th, regardless of if your child is in a remote or blended instructional model. In addition, the state has updated the diploma requirements for students in 12th grade, waiving the requirement for all grade 12 students to complete the SAT. Therefore, seniors are not required to report for testing on April 13th.
Greetings RIHS Community,
