Office Update:
Dr. Elizabeth Lagasca is sadly leaving our office. Her last day is June 26th. 😞 Her and her family have decided to move closer to other family in Indiana. Dr. Courtney and our new doctor Dr. Acosta-Brown will still be available to care for all of Dr. Elizabeth’s patients! Dr. Elizabeth says “This was not an easy decision, but it is what is best for my family at this time. I have truly enjoyed caring for all my patients. Thank you for letting me be apart of you and your family’s lives!”

Ever wonder why its important to get your baby assessed before and/or after their tongue tie evaluation or surgery......

🫶 Gentle adjustments to the neck, cranial bones, and/soft tissue allow the release provider to evaluate the tongue in its natural relaxed state.
The tongue and muscles used to swallow ATTACH to the bones of the head and neck.🧠👅

If NOT properly aligned, the soft tissue connected will be PULLED and TUGGED
This can RESTRICT the tongue motion, thus making feeding difficult. 🤱

POST surgery it is recommended to have you baby checked BECAUSE...this allows us to start rehabilitation to the spine and tongue to promote CORRECT motor skill development. 🧠👅 These adjustments also help baby's anatomy work more efficiently after the change has been made.
