In case you missed it, Cortney Fisher—a lecturer in the UMD Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice and 2014 Ph.D. graduate—was recently asked to serve as a “Guest Coach of the Game” in the Maryland Women's Basketball team’s match against Harvard University.

Fisher was recognized for her work with undergraduate students inside and outside the classroom—most notably through her work as a member of the UMD Athletic Council’s Academics and Compliance Committee, and its Health and Wellness Committee.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will be conducting applicant testing for the position of Deputy Sheriff Candidate this Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the Executive Office Building (EOB) cafeteria at 1000 hours. We are asking applicants to arrive between 0930-0945 hours to be processed.
