As we celebrate our 35th anniversary we want share stories from our people across the company about what makes Silver Diner special.

We are starting with William "Fred" Acevedo, our operating partner at our Cherry Hill location, who has been with us for 25 years!

Fred's journey started in 1999 as a busser. Through the years he worked in every position on his way to becoming a manager, general manager and now Operating Partner.

We are proud to announce that Elena James from Rockville and Tanya White from Greenbelt have been recognized with the Restaurant Association of Maryland's (RAM) Heart of the Industry Award!

Elena and Tanya celebrated with their peers at the annual RAM Awards Gala on Saturday, April 14th.

This award recognizes people in the industry that have gone above and beyond for community involvement and our industry at large outside of the restaurant business.

Elena and Tanya represented not just Silver Diner, but the entire restaurant industry at rallies this year. They showed everyone what the people in the industry want.
