A new edition of Laudato Si' Week begins now! From May 21 to 28 let us celebrate the eighth anniversary of the publication of the encyclical Laudato Si'. "Hope for the Earth. Hope for humanity", will be this year's guiding theme.

Monday, February 13th at 7:00 pm ET, 6:00 pm CT, and 4:00 pm PT, the SHCJ Refugee Collaborative will host a conversation with Carlos Yee who currently works in the Tijuana Office of the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees (UNHCR), the UN refugee agency which is dedicated to saving lives and protecting the rights of refugees. Prior to coming to UNHCR, Carlos served as the Director of Programs at Casa del Migrante in Tijuana, a shelter which assists the most vulnerable migrants who arrive in the city. Also, Carlos was a recent recipient of the Humanitarian Award given by Casa Cornelia Law Center.
