The Cooperative shall facilitate the exchange of information among participants, encourage participants to share their library facilities, develop mutually supportive collection development/resource sharing programs, maintain and encourage communication and cooperation among the participants, and develop other mutually advantageous programs and activities.

Every Teen in the US Can Now Get Free Access to Banned Books In response to book bans targeting Black and LGBTQ+ people, the Brooklyn Public Library is offering digital library cards to anyone ages 13 to 21.

NYC libraries are offering free digital library cards to people across the U.S. The offer is being done in response to book bans that have cropped up around the country.
