I cut Bridget’s her dry when she arrived so I could see how her waves were laying. ➰
We treated her hair to a treatment duo starting with curl partner clarifying packet followed by hydratriplex moisture treatment. 💦
Styled with liquid rollers on her ends, foam all over for body, definition and hydration. Lastly topped with lavender mint defining gel to fight the humidity.

Love working with head of thick waves. We usually cut them dry when she arrives then wash & style with total recoil (a curl cream with hold, one of my go-to’s for wavy hair) before drying with the diffuser. 💨

We shifted Sara’s cut closer to her Debbie Harry inspo pic by thickening up the perimeter of her shape & getting rid of the angle towards her face. 🚫📐
We also made the bang section wider to open up her face and draw attention to her eyes. While also bringing more hair forward to make them thicker. 👀⬅️
Layering the top of her hair where it’s straighter made her curlier underneath she loves more visible. ➿🙌

Did a lot less hair last week than I expected thanks to momma nature, a whole lotta ice and zero power 🥶🚫🔌

Before the power went out I had the pleasure of hooking up Jalen with a fresh look!! After building trust during our introductory haircut appointment, visit ✌️it was time for a transformation cut including length off, layers & hair forward instead of to the side. 💕

Scalp clarified with tea tree special detox foaming salt scrub followed by Tea Tree Special Detox Kombucha Rinse. Styled with just gel under the dryer ✨

New bangs and razor cut layering had Nicole feeling brand new. Our goal with the bangs was to keep it lighter in the center and chunkier towards her hairline to really highlight her cheekbones. ⚡️😁

Liz was looking to reshape her existing s**g haircut and it was our first time working together. The perfect candidate for an Introductory cut appointment. 🆕

Lydia and I are both fans of removing length for winter for faster drying times on cold mornings. 🥶
At the shampoo bowl I clarified twice with Paul Mitchell] Shampoo Two which removes dulling build up on the surface of the hair strand leaving leaving it bouncier and shinier. 🦘
This is a great bi-weekly to once a month shampoo for people who go multiple days between washing (like many wavy, curly, coily folks). When used with a double cleanse technique, follow with your fave moisturizing shampoo. 🧴
Styled with Paul Mitchell] super sculpt styling glaze applied scalp to ends using my fingers to comb through in a ‘rake and shake’ technique. Love super sculpt for lots of shine and medium hold. Dried using diffuser on medium heat & medium speed. 🌬

If you are like Sydney and embrace your natural texture. It is helpful to arrive with your washed with in past 24-48 hours and styled in its natural state using the products in your routine. ➿➰〰️
Please avoid stretching your natural texture by pulling it back in a bun, twisted, under a hat etc etc. 🧢👒🎩
This allows me to cut your hair where it lives….cause you know when it’s wet it lives in a much different place than when it’s dry. It also allows me to better tune into the mixture of different curl/wave/coil patterns in your hair and address them differently. ☯️

After shampooing and conditioning I applied liquid rollers a lightweight bouncy curl cream, super sculpt liquid gel & a little Evo macgyver mouse through the crown before drying with the diffuser. 💕

Change of season can also be a great time to switch up your products. Adding in a mousse or gel with hold can be super helpful in the humid spring/summer months. 🔥

I have been really digging vivid colors placed next to natural colors lately so I was pumped when Erin suggested this idea. 💡
We used her existing blonde color block from her last appointment as the base for the neon yellow created with staino. Then refreshed her copper with the demi: vegan deposit only amonia free conditioning color. 💛
This color combo paired with the contrast of shorter length in her fringe & layers to the longer length in her perimeter in this s**g and I am just loving these combos of contrasts. 😍
This visit was booked as a color refresh. This means there is no color work done in foils. This service is often alternated with a dimensional service where we move up lighter pieces in foils. ⚡️

☑️ I will now be taking guests Tuesdays from 10-6. 🥳
☑️ I will no longer be taking salon guests on Mondays. 🚫
☑️ There will be no change to Wed, Thursday & every other Saturday hours. 💯
This change will help tremendously with building up my indie haircutting educator work as I am finding Monday is still the most requested day of the week for education. 💕
