What should I report on the LAT 5 form?
The Personal Property Report is mailed out at the beginning of every February for you to report inventory, any asset acquisitions, or disposals from the previous year. The assets listed on the LAT-5 form should reflect what is in the business as of January 1st of the filing year.
When is the LAT 5 form due, and is there a penalty for not reporting?
The deadline to return completed forms is April 1, 2024. The penalty for not reporting your LAT 5 form is a 10% increase on the current year’s assessment.
