If you have a hidden gem of a college or trade school, please post in the comments sections. I will start with the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy: https://www.usmma.edu/ It's a Federal Academy like West Point or the Air Force Academy but doesn't require active duty service upon graduation (just reserve duty). It's located on Long Island so you can take a local train service into Manhattan on the weekends if you like to be social, or join the sailing team and sail away the weekends.
| U.S. Merchant Marine Academy The .gov means it’s official.Federal government websites often end in .gov or .mil. Before sharing sensitive information, make sure you're on a federal government site.
THANK YOU!!! to Evelyn Camell and all those involved at SJUSD who put time and effort into the webinars to share great info.
