In the wake of tragedy we would like to thank the community for the outpouring of support. We have a long road ahead—now is the time for us to ask for continued support by sharing this link and donating if you are in a position to do so.

MEET THE TEAM
This is Ezzie
Born and raised in North Sacramento, I attended Grant Union High School in Del Paso Heights. After graduating, I found inspiration in the world of modeling in 2019. My modeling journey led me to collaborate with various local and notable brands such as , JBL Audio, Izze Sparkling Juice, and even a TikTok feature for Aeropostale. Notably, I made an appearance in a music video premiered at a Crosses show in SF for Crookone, providing me with an unforgettable experience.

My roots in the hospitality industry started at Shake Shack as a line and grill cook, but I quickly realized my passion lay beyond the confines of fast food. Seeking a more creative and culturally enriching environment, I transitioned to Kasbah. Despite being unfamiliar with the cuisine, the challenge excited me, and I dove headfirst into mastering the intricacies of cultural foods and ho**ah.

Eager to expand my role, I progressed from a server to a bartender once I turned 21, guided and trained by Aja. The bar became my canvas as I experimented with flavors, fruits, and herbs, infusing a sense of creativity into each drink. I found joy in familiarizing myself with various spirits, developing an intuition for flavor combinations. At 22, I continue to embrace the dynamic world of bartending, relishing the opportunity to learn something new every day.

Indulge in the rich history of Knafeh. This Jordanian and Palestinian delight tells a tale of crispy phyllo layers embracing a luscious sweet cheese filling. Originating from the heart of traditional celebrations, each bite is a journey through the vibrant culinary tapestry of the region. It was founded in 1978–the date was chosen because of the significance of UN Partition Plan or Resolution 181 (intended to establish an Arab and Jewish State in 1947).

Morgan Miller
Having grown up in Southern California surrounded by a broad mix of cultural and culinary influences, Morgan knew from a young age that the kitchen was where her creative inspiration truly lay. She began her career in the restaurant industry as a teen, confident in her love of pastries. In the years that followed, Morgan honed her skills in numerous commercial kitchens and bakeries. Now, after 10 years living and working in Sacramento, her expertise spans the spectrum, including vegan, gluten free, and fine dining desserts. She finds her inspiration in savory aromatic spices, which she blends with a modern flair, resulting in thoroughly unique yet nostalgic flavors.

Happy Hour Tuesday! Come support our Palestinian woman-owned restaurant, and try something new, like Arak.

This Levantine distilled alcoholic beverage from grapes and aniseed has a licorice flavor, and is translucent until water is added to it then it turns milky-white color. It’s lovingly referred to as the “Milk of Lions.” Arak is usually enjoyed with small bites - like happy hour appetizers. Available as part of our limited-time Levantine menu.
