TougeStars Drift

With the news that became public today, felt only right to make a in memoriam post.

& I started this page back in 2014 largely due to the influence that had on us & the desire to document the amazing drivers we were seeing, & our path to hopefully joining them one day.

10yrs after our first Sonoma drift Wednesday night, the series has finally come to a close. Drift & drags will be missed greatly, but we’re excited to see the future growth of the private events & hope to join in for some in the near future.

With how much fun we all had last year, we weren’t gonna miss out on running it back for year 2.
We’ll be hosting another private, small car count event the Friday before Pumpkin bash. Come get comfy on the track without the crowds & chaos, & maybe we can all get a drifter potluck/BBQ going on before the nights shenanigans fully ensue?

This time last week we were in a convoy headed up north…. I think I can safely say we all wish we were doing it again 😂 already itching to get back on track.. What event should we close the year out with?? ?? ??? Who wants to party!?

Available again for everyone, hand weeded to get you all that crispy detail, these things take time but we love seeing them, so we’re going to keep pumping them out for you. Greetings everyone! Wanted to make a quarterly team update, as well as remind all our PNW/NorCal friends about our private day in Medford coming up in a few weeks! We’ll also be driving pumpkin bash the following days, so come say what’s up if you’re there & get a sticker (& maybe a pre-release tee shirt??)

First, we have the TS13 going under the knife finally & preparing to handle some more meat on the rears. We address the oil leaks… later.
Then there’s Jordan’s Z, actively trying to boil itself & ignite its PS fluid on the headers. But she’s still ripping!
Then we have our favorite banana Matt, our here getting seat time while we all thrash… until his fuel system let him down, that is. F.

First off, just want to thank everyone that made it out to our first event yesterday. Everyone got tons of seat time & it seems the layout was a hit, fast & float with tons of room to party on the back section. We wanted to see your guys side of the day, so we made a google photo album for everyone to add their photo/videos from the day to if they want to share with the rest of the community. We can’t wait for the next one, & hope you guys all had just as much fun as we did!

Alright everyone, first event of the year for us and we’re looking to make it an exciting one! Turns out the Sugo West D1GP/DM course fits on our favorite local skidpad, so we’re headed out to set up a 1:1 replica with a fun solo run comp thrown in at lunch! The comp may include some small prizes but mainly bragging rights between you & your buddies. Shoot us any questions you may have in the comments, tag your friends & get your driving partners to reg up, let’s have a fun day full of technical lines & tight tandems!
