🌟 Motivational Monday with Dr. Tanya Gluzerman 🌟
“The human mind always makes progress, but it is progress in spirals.” - Madame de Stael
I often remind my patients that progress isn’t a straight path. Life’s journey is full of twists, turns, and even setbacks. It’s essential to recognize that each experience—whether it feels like a step forward, backward, or even sideways—contributes to our growth.
We are constantly evolving, and the ups, downs, and spirals all prepare us for future challenges. Embrace the spirals of life as they come, knowing that they are an integral part of your personal development.
Happy Monday, and here’s to appreciating every moment of progress, no matter the direction it takes. 🌱✨
📚 Back-to-School Tips from Dr. Michael Pica 🍎
As summer winds down and the school year approaches, it’s important to prepare for the transitions ahead. Dr. Michael Pica shares valuable advice to help families start the school year off right:
1. Establish Structure: Set a consistent sleep schedule, manage homework, and limit screen time from the beginning.
2. Work as a Team: Parents, stay mindful of time commitments to avoid unnecessary stress. Balance is key!
3. IEPs and 504 Plans: Get those plans ready and ensure all accommodations are in place before the school year begins.
4. Healthy Expectations: Both students and parents should set realistic expectations. Communication is essential, especially for those applying to college.

“The only difference between success and failure is the ability to take action.” - Alexander Graham Bell
Intentions and great thoughts are just the beginning, but without action, nothing further transpires. Sometimes, action can look like making the choice not to act upon something. However, even that is a type of action. In order to be successful, we cannot remain stagnant.
Dr. Tanya Gluzerman reminds us that it’s crucial to take steps towards our goals, even if they are small. What actions are you taking to ensure your success this week?

2. Unplug: Disconnect from your devices for a while and enjoy some screen-free time.
3. Move Your Body: Go for a walk, stretch, or engage in any physical activity you enjoy.
4. Practice Mindfulness: Take deep breaths, meditate, or simply be present in the moment.

🌟 Dr. Tanya Gluzerman’s Thoughts 🌟
In our fast-paced, word-centric world, it’s easy to overlook the subtle yet powerful messages conveyed through nonverbal cues and unspoken words. True understanding comes from observing the complete picture - the spoken words, the tone, the body language, and the silences. Today, let’s practice being more attentive and aware, embracing the full spectrum of communication to enrich our connections and experiences.

“Our heads are round so thought can change direction.” – Francis Picabia
Dr. Tanya Gluzerman shares her wisdom: “I often tell patients that they can always change their mind. Life is not linear. We end up on various journeys throughout the course of our life, some planned and many not. It is so important to remain flexible in your thinking and allow your thoughts to influence your behaviors when they lead to healthy new potentials.”
Embrace the power of flexible thinking and be open to new opportunities and growth! 🌿✨
