"The Spring 24 collection draws inspiration from the remarkable works of two influential black female sculptors, Augusta Savage from the 1930s and Simone Leigh, the first black female artist to represent the Unites States at the Venice Biennale, 2022.
Despite being separated by nearly a century, a parallel can be drawn between these artists, showcasing their shared commitment to exploring themes of identity, empowerment, and cultural heritage.
Savage's pioneering sculptures, rooted in the Harlem Renaissance, paved the way for Leigh's contemporary creations that challenge societal norms and celebrate the strength and resilience of black womanhood.
This collection pays homage to their artistic legacies, combining elements of classic and modern aesthetics to create a harmonious fusion that transcends time."

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝘁:⁣
Using a razor, create the perimeter length moving up the head with 1-inch sections. Start with shallow strokes and deepen strokes with every section for texture. Isolate a U-shaped section on top of the head, then carve out C shapes in the interior below that section to create internal texture, movement and layers. ⁣
⁣
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲:⁣
1) Cleanse hair with GEMSTONE Color Shampoo & Conditioner.⁣
2) Apply DALLAS Thickening Spray and CHIFFON Styling Mousse roots-to-ends.⁣
3) Hand-tousle hair while blow drying until hair is completely dry. ⁣
4) Use a flat iron on random sections to create deep C shapes for organic-looking waves.⁣
5) Flip head upside down and spray ZIG ZAG Root Teasing + Texture Spray throughout the hair. ⁣
6) Finish with CONTROL Flexible Paste on the ends and secure with OUTER SPACE Flexible Hairspray.

Hair was prepped with lost treasure apple cider vinegar shampoo & conditioner to help tangles and prevent frizz & styled with a curl coiling technique, using ringtone roots to ends then dried utilizing the diffuser and then curls were individually separated with a little bit of hyperlink to create these beautiful bouncy curls 💖💫
