TRUTTA is back. You may have caught him here back in January when he preformed an exclusive preview set before kicking off a month of solar powered techno at Art Shanty Projects.

In the dead of winter, Trutta's grooves where exactly what we needed to get our bodies moving and with spring slowly awakening we thought we'd help it along by inviting him back to get things moving again. Catch him tonight from 5:30 to 7 in the Creators Cup Coffee House. No cover as always.

Weekly Artist Spotlight:

Minneapolis-based musicians, Victoria Temiz and Carl Johnson together form the vintage jazz duo, Clover Club. Blending vintage jazz, folk, & blues with a Parisian flair, the two have become our favorite jazz residents. This week's Friday Night Coffeehouse Vibes set will mark the duo's third time performing in our space and we are excited to welcome them back.

As spring flirts at the edges of winter, please come and join us for a fantastic evening of musical escape. Grab a warm beverage from the cafe and imagine yourself on the streets of Paris, enjoying a drink at the Cafe de Flore, with the sounds of the cabaret to keep you company.

Crooner Russell Harms studied classical piano and cello at MacPhail Center for the Arts, and is an alumni of the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Dean loves to sing and play the piano for seniors. His personality comes through as he weaves the songs in his setlist together with brief stories and anecdotes.

This Week's Artist Spotlight belongs to: T.A.R.I.A.S and the Sound:

The Answer Resides Inside All Sound (T.A.R.I.A.S) is a timely perspective on the relationship between sound, nature, and human expression of life in motion. Tarias and the Sound (Anthony Omodt-Lopez) has been keeping the mojo flowing ever since his first album made at age 12. He practices storytelling through his soulful, unique and modernized blend of the blues and jazz. As a lifelong admirer of music as a medium of cultural connection, Tarias and the Sound encourages, summons, and hopes to inspire art to continue.

Singer/Songwriter Cornelius Watson of The Infernos as a one man band playing reimagined versions of orginal roots rock & roll tunes. The sound can be described as "The Cramps in a knife fight with Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse" or "If Link Wray faked his death to run away with a traveling polka circus."
