Just kidding, we are open all day tomorrow. Rhea and Bobby are headed to lake of the woods tomorrow, and Carf had a guide day tomorrow morning and wasn’t going to be able to make it to the shop until 2pm. CARF’s guide day was postponed so he will be at the shop all day tomorrow!! We are also open 10-4 Saturday.

Open normal hours this week except Friday we will open at 2pm. We will also be closed on Monday next week for Memorial Day. Get out there and fish this weekend!!

Our fourth Bob Mitchell’s fly fishing college of the summer just wrapped up this afternoon!! Good times were had and fish were caught. 5 more to go!

Last fall, had an amazing fundraiser and one of the items they auctioned off was a fishing day with us and . Clearly we weren’t the main attraction on this one. 🤣 Yesterday we got out in the water with manning the second boat. While the fishing may have been slow, a great day out with new friends was still had. Thanks to everyone who donated to help keep our resources pristine and protected. And a big thanks to Jeff and Bob for bidding on this fun day!

Smallies were eating well today! and I were out for a few hours this afternoon bangin on em pretty good. A strip with a slow fall and a strip with another slow fall was the ticket. A reddish orange fly seemed to be working best.

Tomorrow rain or shine!!!! Bring your rain coats. Luckily most all fly fishing gear is relatively water resistant. Line forms at 9:30 usually, gates open at 10am! Parking will just be find a spot around the neighborhood. Might have to walk a block or two.

Kicking off our first summer class of the year tonight!! We have put more than 1000 people through the fly fishing college program in the past 12 years. We love teaching new folks the ins and outs of fly fishing.
