Thank you Robert Hayden L.Ac for this: One of the unique features of acupuncture is the channel system. Channels are conduits of flow that reach from one end of the body to the other. Blockages along the flow create pain and other symptoms. Needling along the channel can unblock the flow and help relieve the symptoms. The needle doesn't need to be anywhere near the blockage; in fact needling points far away from it can often produce much better results.

You know what?
I think being your favorite self instead of constantly striving to be your best self is actually pretty awesome. Hear me out.

When we focus on being our best selves, the pressure can become overwhelming. We're always chasing after some ideal version of ourselves that may not even exist. But when we embrace being our favorite selves, it allows us to let go of all those expectations and just be who we truly are at our core - flaws and all. It's about accepting ourselves with all our quirks, imperfections, and mistakes included.

And you know what?
That's where the magic happens – in that space of vulnerability and authenticity.
Plus, by leaving room for grace, we give ourselves permission to grow and evolve without judgment or criticism.
So let's stop trying to fit into this unrealistically perfect mold and start celebrating who we are right now because being our favorite selves is truly something worth embracing.

The words we use for ourselves and others have a big impact on our psyche.
Often, changing a single word in a sentence makes a big difference, not in the message per se but in how the brain understands it and the connections it makes after.
Let’s choose them carefully :)
