I help curious minds live from their inner wisdom, for more ease, clarity, and pleasure. It’s been a continual journey in that direction ever since.
Lorna Stell offers inner voice facilitation, inner voice coaching, and somatic meditation sessions. Her specialty is helping people shift from fear and stress to living from their inner wisdom, for a life of more ease, pleasure, and clarity. After a chronic illness flare-up turned spiritual awakening in 2018, Lorna realized she had an inner knowing that wanted to guide her towards vitality, uncond
Ok, here is one of my BIGGEST lessons lately:
The thinking mind is ALWAYS looking for problems.
To the point that if it sees a circumstance that *could* be, *might* be a problem, it automatically slaps on the “problem” label.
Then what happens? If you’re anything like me…instant anxiety.
What is that anxiety a sign of?
Not trusting.
If someone you trust unconditionally, who has never let you down, says to you, “hey, this thing came up but I’m taking care of it for you, don’t even worry,” in a perfect world you would barely feel a thing about it. It would just feel like “oh wow, great, thank you so much!!”
IRL, our minds tend not to operate that way, again, at least if you’re like me 😉
What it more often looks like is, something comes up in life that looks like it’s a problem that needs solving. For many of us, the spirit of life itself may not show up super clearly in words, so we’re not getting the message, “hey, this thing came up but I’m taking care of it for you, don’t even worry!”
In fact the “thing that came up” might not be a problem AT ALL. The “problem” label often comes from the thinking mind, who is skipping a step and making assumptions.
That step it skipped is to pause, use some discernment, and go “hmm…this LOOKS like a problem…but is it?? Inner voice, is it a problem I need to solve?”
(Inner voice being what I call our infinite inner wisdom and source of unconditional love and truth that we all have access to)
Sometimes the answer will be “Nope! Not a problem! Just hang tight and we’ll make it all clear soon. You can trust it’s all ok.”
Sometimes the answer will be “We wouldn’t call it a problem, but here’s some inspiration and clear guidance about what your next step should be. We’ll be here every step of the way, don’t worry.”
The fear, the anxiety, the worry…all comes from the untrusting mind—Who either doesn’t know there’s a source of inner wisdom to lean on and ask these questions to, or is too scared to ask, and too scared to do things differently than the solutions it would come up with…
(which by the way, are often short sighted solutions by virtue of the fact that we can’t hold all the information in the universe in our brains at one time 🙃)
The fact is, if you’re becoming a bigger player in the world—Making bigger moves, more connections, generating bigger desires—YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO TRUST.
(I’m saying it to me too lol)
Why?? Because it is not the thinking mind’s job to hold ALL of that. It’s too big of a job to be searching your life up and down for potential problems, figuring out solutions, trying to predict the future which is impossible…
It’s a cruel job to give anyone.
Your mind deserves a rest. It’s like a lot of us have been giving our minds scope creep without even realizing it.
Like “hey! Can you do all the things in your normal job description, but also this and this and this and this and by the way there aren’t enough hours in the day for all of it especially when you haven’t had the training and all of this sh*t isn’t in your natural skillset but can you just like kind of make it work? Ok that would be greeeaaat ✌🏼”
Like…how rude hahaha
The good news is this is optional. “We” the thinking minds don’t have to navigate all of life by ourselves. We have infinite resources…if we’re willing to ask and receive.
This is why I created Trust Yourself (well really my inner voice did…I literally just had the inspiration for a workshop and asked my inner voice what it wanted it to be about haha)
Trust Yourself is a group inner voice meditation event. For this second round, I’m hosting us on Zoom (and this might be the last time I share about it unless I’m inspired otherwise this week)!
👉🏼 THIS Saturday, June 15th
👉🏼 1-3pm EDT (no, we won’t be meditating for 2 solid hours haha)
If you’re thinking “eek but I’m so bad at meditating,” please join us. If you’re thinking “I’ve never tried meditating before, I’m kind of intimidated and it seems hard??” Please join us. If you’ve been practicing already for years and years, please join us. The event is designed to be friendly and beneficial for all experience levels.
If it feels like a “yes!” Then I’m excited to have you! Details, testimonials, and registration are in the comments 🖤
Celebration time! I had a ridiculously affirming and transformative call with my monthly inner voice client yesterday! ✨
This human has gone from perpetual frustration and resistance around processing bodily sensations (what I liken to “clearing out the pipes in the house” and “clearing the static in the air”)
…and skepticism about the inner voice, what I call our source of inner wisdom (but still DEEPLY wanting things to be different in their life and willing to try a new approach)…
…To now, a FULL year later:
👉🏼 Having their own name for their inner voice
👉🏼 Being able to clearly discern and ask for what they need from me (You are the expert on you! ✨)
👉🏼 Being able to tell what is “thinking mind” stuff and what is “inner voice” stuff
👉🏼 Discomfort and pain in the body processing (neutralizing) SO quickly
👉🏼 Having the confidence to speak to their own inner voice directly (building their own connection muscle while having me facilitate for them, a bit like having training wheels)
👉🏼 Initially only being able to receive feedback from their inner voice through colors, and now opening to receive in other ways (including even smells which is so wild and cool 😮)
👉🏼 Expanding their capacity to receive clear guiding information from their inner voice on frustrating / sticky topics
👉🏼 Starting to become curious about their own patterns rather than immediately identifying with them (which is the starting point for ANY transformation and change)…
And I feel like that only scratches the surface ✨✨✨
So there’s some evidence for you—Ask for what you need. That very thing has taken this person SO far in their personal growth, even just in our practitioner/client relationship.
They have asked for the frequency of sessions they felt they needed, they have asked for my questions to their inner voice to be worded just sliiiightly differently, they have even asked that we call their inner voice something different when “inner voice” didn’t feel quite right (ftr we call it “inner being” which is just as beautiful).
And what is all this evidence of? Oh yeah…trusting yourself!! 😜😜😜
It seriously opens up everyyyything.
This particular client worked with me in a series of Vitality Activation sessions and 6 months of Intuition Infusion, BUT you can dip your toes in and experience some major transformation / inner peace / clarity when you join us for Trust Yourself (my group meditation event) on 6/15 ☺
👉🏼 Saturday, June 15th
👉🏼 1-3pm EDT
👉🏼 Happening virtually on Zoom (I HIGHLY recommend joining live for the most benefit, but a recording will be provided for those who can’t)
Join us to get in touch with YOUR inner voice even if you think you suck at meditating, even if you think your inner voice is probably mad at you, etc etc. 🖤
See you there!! Registration is in the comments!
Hahaaaa remember that time I announced that Trust Yourself (the group inner voice meditation experience) was happening again, this time on Zoom, on 6/15?
…And then remember how I went radio silent about it for 2 weeks? No? Me neither 😝
A LOT has happened in that time! New inspiration, new learnings, new life lessons being integrated…
A lot of it has had to do with joy, surprisingly.
Like…I thought I was a pretty joyful person. Turns out joy can be SUPER hard for me lol.
But interestingly enough…it is not hard at all for my inner voice (what I call our soul essence and source of inner wisdom).
It actually has required some MAJOR trust falls with my inner voice for me to start experiencing more joy in my life.
And to be clear…my life is QUITE good. There is nothing major I’m missing. But I don’t always let myself enjoy what I have, or go after what else I desire.
In the past 2 weeks I’ve learned a LOT about this, to the point that I thought Trust Yourself was turning into a whole different event (stay tuned, I believe that is around the corner haha)
I’ll just say, those who attend the next round of Trust Yourself will be getting some delicious new gems.
If you KNOW you’d really benefit from trusting yourself more, and if you’re also like me and have a hard time letting yourself be joyful…
Then my friend, Trust Yourself round 2 was made for you ✨
👉🏼 Saturday, June 15th
👉🏼 1-3pm
👉🏼 Happening virtually on Zoom (I HIGHLY recommend joining live for the most benefit, but a recording will be provided for those who can’t)
I’ll give a short talk about why we lose sight of our inner wisdom, how we can offer lots of compassion for ourselves when we feel stuck, and share a simple method to let go of the struggle.
I’ll also guide the group in a body-based meditation practice you can use in day to day life, even when you feel overwhelmed, indecisive, or unsure of yourself.
For those who would like to apply this meditation practice to a specific situation, question, or circumstance you’re navigating, you’ll have the opportunity for 1:1 inner voice facilitation with me in the “hot seat.” This part always moves some MAJOR blockages for people and I’m excited for you to experience it 🥰
Participants in this event will all be able to learn from each other’s shares, and see that you’re not alone 🖤
The invitation is open whether you’ve never meditated before, or you’re a seasoned pro 🙌🏼
The link to register is in the comments! WOOHOO I’ll see you there if it feels like a “yes!”
Trust Yourself last Saturday blew my mind. It occurred to me that I’ve come full circle—When I started my business in 2020-21, I initially tried to kick things off with a group program.
While it flopped at the time and no one signed up, it led to me working with many clients individually since then. And then 2024 rolled around, and I started actually being INVITED to serve groups.
Not me trying to force it and initiate like I did years ago. So when the invitation was extended to bring an event to Lindsay's space at Show Your Spark ✨, I happily accepted, while not knowing what it would be.
I thought I would be recycling the content of a workshop I led a couple years ago, Intuition 101. But then I thought, “Let’s do this the real inner voice way. Time to walk my talk!”
So I asked my inner voice (what I call the soul essence and inner wisdom we all have), “What will the topic of this event be?”
What I got was “trusting yourself.”
I thought, “…Huh. That’s weird. 🤷♀️” 😂
(Pro tip for your inner voice practice: if you receive words, a knowing, a mental image, or whatever else that makes no sense…it’s probably your inner voice and not your thinking mind, which is a great sign! Haha)
“Trusting yourself” didn’t make sense to me on a mental level at the time. When I circled back later to ask some clarifying questions, it ended up then making SO SO much sense.
For me, the whole topic linked back to my inner victim complex. I’m *very* good at playing victim—And it was revealed to me that when I believe I’m a victim, I feel small. I don’t take responsibility. Which also means I don’t claim my agency and sovereignty. I want to give it away to someone or something else because I believe I’m incapable.
There’s a nuance here…for a long time, the word “responsibility” felt hard and heavy. It feels like the message *could* be, “Grow up and take responsibility and quit complaining.” Responsibility felt like a scary burden.
But…the real message for me is—“Hey, look around. Look at ALL the cool things life has sent you and all the cool things you have created and experiences you’ve had. Look at all your needs that are being met. Look how beautiful life is. You participated in this. You made it possible. YOU!! There’s no reason to believe you’re incapable because it’s not true. That’s an illusion. You get to see through the mirage now.” It’s a loving message from my inner voice to me.
The original intent of this victim mind pattern is to protect from feeling uncomfortable, essentially. But it ends up reinforcing the idea that I’m incapable. I’ve had that idea about myself for a LONG time. And ironically…it’s pretty uncomfortable to identify with. But at the same time, it’s like a familiar old blankie. And we all know how gross those get and how often they’re washed…not often 😅
So what does this have to do with trusting yourself and this event last week?
Well. As long as I believed in my victimhood, I knew for sure that I didn’t trust myself to be ok…OR trust life to take care of me. As long as I believed I was a victim, I believed more deeply in scarcity and my limitedness than I did in the cosmic level of provision that life is always sending my way. As long as I believed I was a victim, I believed something wrong and bad was happening to me or COULD happen to me, and that’s the end all be all.
As my inner voice told me:
“You can have a lot more freedom if you do trust yourself. Whatever you’re trying to do or have or be is going to be on the other side of that.”
In contrast, victim mentality is a restrictive tunnel vision.
So without me planning it, my inner voice ended up initiating me into a month long trust fall. FUN haha!
I had a month to plan and share about this event and hope someone showed up 😅 Not to mention integrating my own lessons about trusting myself.
Me…who barely markets my work, has a low email open and click rate (lol), doesn’t have a huge social media following or community…how was this going to work exactly? 🤔
All I knew was I was going to follow the inner voice bits of guidance that I got along the way, and just see what happened.
And all I know is we ended up with the perfect group in the end. Perfect!!
In this small group of 7 women (8 if you count me), we expressed the limiting beliefs and fears we can all relate to, we breathed, we dove into our body’s sensations and inner voices. At least a couple of us cried and no one in the room judged it.
We got cozy under blankets on the floor and ate snacks and took off our bras because who needs a damn bra to meditate anyway?!
After we meditated as a group, one participant said it felt like something all of our inner voices were in the room doing together.
Maybe you had to be there, but I will remember that for a long time. It hit me deep in the heart and gives me chills to revisit that moment. Because it felt true.
Can you imagine connection with other humans on a level that deep? Even if you’ve just met them and maybe don’t even remember their names yet?
When asked what their favorite part of the event was, some people shared:
“The group setting and everyone being able to share their experiences with no judgement”
“Feeling the calm and at peace and feeling the tension in my body wash away”
“The feeling of connection to the other participants and the feeling of safety in the experience.”
I love all of this deeply, but it’s that last part that matters SO much to me. While I can’t guarantee no one ever gets triggered in spaces with me (because I can’t control your nervous system or your history of trauma, and that’s ok, because we have tools to navigate it)…
…I know for sure that being present in a deeply relaxed state, in a space where all of you is accepted without judgment, where you also are not being coerced into sharing anything you’re not comfortable with…
…is POW 👏🏼 ER 👏🏼 FUL 👏🏼
Looking around the room and seeing such deep rest in all of these bodies was a true gift.
So thank you to my inner voice for creating this experience. Thank you to every human who showed up with an open mind. With every day I let my thinking mind take a little bit longer of a break from the driver’s seat, and I trust the unseen a little bit more.
And I remember yet again that it all gets to be ok.
So…now what? 🙂
I don’t know yet where we go from here! There has been interest in a virtual version of Trust Yourself for those who aren’t in the Boston area. There has been interest in more in person groups like this for those who are. I personally have a desire to serve more men in this work as well.
We shall see! If you’re interested in any or all of the above, I’d love to connect in the comments 🖤
So a friend just asked me for business advice, wanting to know where they should focus in their next endeavor because, like many of us, they want to do…
…all…the…things!
And what I told them is…just come to Trust Yourself on Saturday lol.
I literally spent years spinning my mental wheels trying to figure out business decisions. It usually got me nowhere, and even if it did get me somewhere, I was fearful and anxious the whole way, and never satisfied with the end result.
Get 👏🏻 out 👏🏻 of 👏🏻 your 👏🏻 mind 👏🏻
Your thinking mind’s job isn’t to solve your “inspiration problems.”
Your thinking mind’s job is to be the open gate to receive your inspiration from your inner voice (what I call your soul essence and inner wisdom).
And after that your thinking mind’s job is to act on the inspiration. To execute.
Creating inspiration, or making the “right choice” when it comes to your creative soul nudges, is not the mind’s job.
You can use it to make logical decisions, sure. But you’d be surprised how many decisions should purely be left to 100% logic. Not as many as you might think.
Your inner voice has a cosmic level view of the truth for you that your thinking mind isn’t privy to. Because again…it’s not its job to need to hold and act on ALL of that information that’s available.
That’s like handing a toddler all the books in the world and telling them to memorize them all and don’t forget a single thing and don’t mess this up or else. We would never! And we don’t have to put that much pressure on our thinking minds either.
So if you’re ready for the easy way and ready to give your thinking mind a vacation (because honestly, it’s probably working WAY too hard)…
Then you’re invited to Trust Yourself, a small group meditation event for women:
👉🏼 THIS Saturday, March 16th
👉🏼 1-3pm
👉🏼 Show Your Spark photo studio in Weymouth/Braintree MA
This may or may not be the last time I post about it, so if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s your chance 🖤
Sometimes I feel like a nerd for feeling this way, but guys…
I LOVE meditation. With a passion.
Why? Because when I allow my busy thinking mind to slooow down and rest, it creates more inner space.
And what naturally flows into that inner space once I make room for it? Love.
That might not sound like much. But here’s my experience:
When I close my eyes and take a few deep breaths to allow my mind to relax…
…Oftentimes I almost instantly feel more gratitude. I feel in awe of the orchestration of my life (created by forces much greater than me btw). I feel in LOVE with my life, myself, my body, the other people around me.
Some days feel stickier than others for sure. Maybe the gratitude doesn’t come in a literal instant because there is some mental or emotional heaviness to process.
That’s ok—And the inner voice meditation modality I work with is designed to support that too.
The thing is, at a certain point I had experienced enough of this “creating inner space” (by clearing out the inner noise) and I realized…there is NO REASON for me to be going about my life carrying unnecessary burdens.
The more I practice this flavor of meditation, the faster I decide to let go of my internal burdens as soon as I notice them.
Shame. Judgment of self and others. Fear. Anxiety. Not trusting life in general. Resistance. Victim complex. Perfectionism. SO much more.
Other than sheer stubbornness, there is no reason to carry those around for days, weeks, or years like many of us do. (I had to learn it the hard way, by getting to the point of being so over my own BS that I finally got willing to feel better by putting the burdens down 😅)
And to be clear, I’m not talking about bypassing or ignoring “negative” feelings. I’m talking about feeling them ALL the way through so they can naturally transmute into vitality.
You are ALLOWED to feel better. Lighter. More energized. More free. More creative.
Your outer circumstances don’t necessarily have to even change in order to create a completely different perspective and experience of life.
You have access to freedom and peace NOW.
And it starts with your inner voice (what I call your soul essence and inner source of unconditional love).
The easiest way to learn to access this deep inner wisdom is through meditation. Over time, with practice, you can access it in an instant without needing to be in a quiet dark room, with your eyes closed, sitting on a meditation cushion.
This is a muscle you build over time. And in my experience, with each breath, you fall into deeper love with yourself and life.
But let’s just start with the first baby step of meditation. If this resonates, I’d love to see you at Trust Yourself, a small group meditation event for women:

👉🏼 1-3pm
👉🏼 Show Your Spark photo studio in Weymouth/Braintree MA

So many warm and fuzzy feelings after yesterday’s client call!
:
Here’s some of what they have experienced over the course of nearly a year of calls together:
:
✨ No more migraines even after stopping all painkillers (those went away after week 2), and no more back pain
✨ WAY better boundaries with others (no more martyring themselves to help everyone, while draining their energy and resources)
✨ No more sponging up the emotions of everyone else when others (even family members!) are upset or unhappy—Even as an empath
✨ Less anger, and much more “go with the flow” energy of acceptance and peace even in the midst of challenges
✨ They’ve developed strong intuitive muscles and can differentiate between the voice of their conditioned thinking mind and their intuition / inner wisdom with ease
✨ They have more energy and clarity in daily life than ever
✨ They feel ridiculously fulfilled and connected with their life purpose on a consistent basis
✨ Being a self-employed business owner, they now have way better boundaries with others at work—No more overworking, and they schedule days off without guilt
✨ They’re following their intuition’s guidance about what clients to work with or not, which makes their business flow with a lot more ease and less stress
✨ They’re no longer feeling scared of the supernatural phenomena they experience and are even making friends with it
:
And honestly, so much more. This is all just off the top of my head 😆 It’s been an incredible journey so far and it’s only up from here! 🥂
:
I’m here for you if you want more pleasure, ease, and clarity in life too 🖤 My DMs are open!
The first small group workshop on Sunday was so lovely!! We went deep and attendees walked away with more confidence in their intuitive connection and clarity on some things they’d been stuck on for a while (The common theme for everyone was fear).
One attendee said "I don't really ever take the time to just sit with myself and with the question I'm stuck on. I just think about it all through the day as I'm doing other things."
After trying out the intuitive practices I taught, they said, "I need to do this literally every day! This was so good."
They were able to get some FAST clarity about something they were afraid of in under 10 minutes (even as a beginner!) and I'm so thrilled for them! 🥰
What has your mind been going in circles about that you would LOVE to have clarity on?
[Final call!]
I was talking this week with a dear friend about how often we try to source things from outside ourselves…
Like validation (a BIG one for me), worth, approval, purpose, answers to our deepest questions, information about what our bodies need…
And how often those efforts cause us suffering, and pretty much the opposite of what we hoped for.
It’s so easy to think that so-and-so person knows better about our own needs, or is more of an expert and has all the answers for us.
This is the WHOLE point of the mission I’m on, helping energy sensitive people heal themselves and live lives that feel good by helping them connect with their intuition.
I’ve watched my clients heal themselves from:
👉🏼 Chronic illnesses (like migraines, eczema, and chronic fatigue)
👉🏼 Self-defeating thoughts
👉🏼 Long-carried emotional wounds and suppressed emotions
How did they do it? Not by me (or anyone else) giving them the answers. By going within to source their OWN answers. By trusting their inner wisdom to guide their next step, and their next step.
No one knows better than YOU what you need.
This isn’t an “intuitive gift” for special or super spiritual people. This is for EVERYONE.
We can all access soul-aligned guidance at any time that allows you to live as your most fully expressed and authentic self. Leaving behind all the childhood conditioning, “shoulds,” fears, and self-judgements.
How do we get there?
Breathing. Getting still. Allowing your active mind to take a vacation for a few minutes. And then listening.
Sounds too simple to be legit, right? Try me. 😜✨
Tomorrow, I’ll be teaching this method in-depth and holding a virtual workshop where you can practice in real time. You’ll walk away with clarity on any area of life where you’ve been feeling stuck.
You’re invited to join us: Jan. 23, 12pm EST, $50 -
“Intuition 101 - How to connect with your inner wisdom to transmute your physical, emotional, and mental blocks into vitality and freedom.”
What might your life look like if you felt fully free right now? I believe in you to embody that. ✨

Who wants to help me with research? 🤓
What do you find most challenging about connecting with your intuition?
It occurs to me that the only reason any “failures” in life have felt like failures is because I made them mean something about who I am -
😓 If I say something I don’t really mean to someone I love when I’m triggered
😓 If I’m laid off by an employer
😓 If I have a really emotional day for “no reason”
😓 If someone asks me for help and I want to say no
😓 If my social media posts get little or no interaction (she said as she posted again on social media 😜)
I'd make it mean something like: “I’m the absolute worst” or “I’ll never get where I want to be” or “something must be wrong with me” or “I’m a terrible friend” or “I should just give up”…
WOW. What an energy drain. And what a sh*tty feeling place to be.
It was this kind of thinking that perpetuated my chronic fatigue syndrome for 16 YEARS. It’s still kind of wild to me that my body was responding directly to my thoughts the whole time.
The first thing that helped my body heal was starting to examine my thoughts and noticing when they felt bad.
Our thoughts are powerful, in whatever direction they’re focused.
And when we’re disconnected from our source of Truth and unconditional love from within…of course our thoughts feel sh*tty.
The reason they feel so sh*tty is because they’re in opposition to your source of Truth. The truth of who you are.
And it takes a lot of energy to function day in and day out under the weight of untruth, no matter what the untruth is focused around (work, relationships, health, etc).
If you’re feeling this way, I want you to know: You haven’t done anything wrong! You probably learned the “sh*tty feeling thoughts” script from somewhere, just like I did.
The cool thing is you can change this script literally whenever you want. As soon as you know that your current script isn’t working for you, and you’re ready to try something different.
On Sunday, Jan. 23rd at 12pm EST, you can start learning how with me at my virtual small group workshop, “Intuition 101 - How to connect with your inner wisdom to transmute your physical, emotional, and mental blocks into vitality and freedom.”
You’ll get to learn what it feels like in your body to tap into your source of Truth, so you never have to feel the sh*ttiness of believing untruth again.
What might be possible for you if you knew beyond any shadow of a doubt how valuable, worthy, and loved you are?
