Happy national boss’ day!

In the fall of 2021, I discovered a passion for organizing and decluttering other people’s belongings. The idea of starting my own business felt daunting, so I reached out to Sheila Roberts, the owner of Tailored Organizing, to see if she was hiring. Fortunately, she was—and she took a chance on me. Little did I know that decision would change my life in ways I couldn’t imagine. It’s now one of the best choices I’ve made in my 44 years on this earth, alongside marrying my sweetest boo and having our daughter.

A few months after working for Sheila, she and her family were moving, and she needed to sell Tailored Organizing. She asked if I wanted to buy it, and although the thought of becoming a business owner felt overwhelming, I took the leap and purchased Tailored Organizing in March 2022. I haven’t looked back since.

This journey has been some of the most rewarding, stressful, and incredible work I’ve ever done. I’m filled with gratitude for our clients who trust me and share not only their homes but their hearts with me.

Cheers to all the bosses out there! And thank-you to Sheila for taking a chance on me!

Did you know….

This laundry room became a catch all for tools, amazon returns, clothes, holiday decorations, linens and more. Our client wanted help creating homes for all items that she and her family used and to help store the more seasonal items they didn't need access to.

This project took 2 organizers and 6 hours to complete.

If you missed our reel yesterday, here's a slowed down version of before and afters of a Tween Shed we worked on. Treat yourself and swipety swipe on through these beauts! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
This shed just needed a little TLC from one of our professional organizers. We added a shelving unit, and supplemented the clients bin collection with a few of our favorite bins to help contain arts n' crafts supplies, and toys, for this client. Making the space functional and easy to use!
