Dear Members:

As we continue to navigate through the unique challenges posed by influenza season, COVID-19, and other health situations, we would like to share an update on how the Montage Wellness Center is responding. The safety and health of our community—members and employees alike—continues to be our number one priority.

Today Monterey County made the difficult decision to issue a “shelter-in-place” order effective at midnight tonight through April 8. That means the Montage Wellness Center will be closed effective immediately, as of the evening of March 17, 2020. Given that this situation is complex and evolving, it is our intention to re-engage services at the clubs as soon as we safely can. We will keep close tabs on this evolving situation so that we can be prepared to reopen some and/or all of the indoor facilities in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.

During the period services of this closure, we will be performing a deep cleaning and preparing the facilities for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. We intend to wipe down the equipment and facilities to assure that when we re-open, you will be able to come in with confidence.

When we do re-open you will be credited with a half month of dues from the unused portion of your March membership. No charges to your accounts will be made for April until we are fully operational again.

In the interim, please check our page and your email for information on our status and even some free advice on staying fit during this period. We want you back healthy!

Be assured that we will do all we can to get back to you quickly but please know that we will be extremely busy during this period so it may take some time.
