The Marian and Barry Ingham Artists Entrance has been pivotal to the Stage Door Series and Marian’s efforts to renovate the space makes it even more special. This performance offers a unique opportunity to witness a 3,000-year-old tradition that honors the Goddess of Corn, ensuring rainfall and bountiful harvests. The event will showcase traditional dances from the eight regions of Oaxaca, with performers dressed in their regional attire, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of this Mexican state.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of tech pioneer and philanthropist Bruce Bastian. Through his B. W. Bastian Foundation, Bruce was instrumental to our LGBTQ arts program at UtahPresents, which kept q***r arts on our stages, and more importantly, connected out in our community. In 1997, Bruce made a lead gift of $1.7 million to renovate Kingsbury Hall and allow the performances we have there today. Bruce was a tireless champion for LGBTQ rights in Utah, and our state is a better place for everyone because of him.
