Concho River in San Angelo has been stocked with channel catfish today. Take a kid fishing.

Landry Jones submitted his catch for the pending junior waterbody record Longnose Gar on Lake Nasworthy. The fish weighed 10.65 lb. and was 47.75 inches long. Well done!

Here is the Community Fishing Lake (CFL) channel catfish stocking plan for the San Angelo District - fall 2024. No specific dates have been set yet, but these ponds will be stocked sometime in October. We will provide updates as these water are stocked throughout the fall.

Remember CFL regulations: Daily bag limit of 5 (all species combined) with 1 black bass 14 inches or greater in length.

Channel Catfish stockings on the Concho River in downtown San Angelo have resumed. 600+ have been stocked today, time to get the family outside, enjoy some cooler weather and catch some fish. Have a great weekend!
