“He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up
kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding”
Key Message: You can outlast a bad season by trusting God; it won't destroy you.
Enemy's Intent: The enemy plots to destroy the good in your life, but seasons change, and so do we.
Indicators of Change: Irritation, interruption, and inconvenience may signal an upcoming change.
God's Role: God may not remove difficulties but gives strength to endure, leading to growth.
Time Control: God holds our times and seasons, not us.
Eth: Hebrew word for "times & seasons"; Ecclesiastes 3:1 GNT.
Learning from Bad Times: Bad times teach growth and understanding of God's lessons.
5 Facts about Seasons:
- Beyond our control.
- Often confusing.
- Live by faith, not explanations.
- God has a purpose for each season.
- Seasons include both good and bad times.
Sowing and Reaping: What you sow in one season, you'll reap in another (Genesis 8:22).
Trusting God: Trusting God means acting as if nothing bothers you.
God's Love: God loves you as you are but won't let you stay the same (Ephesians 2:10).
Deliverance: There’s a set and anointed time for deliverance from a bad season; believe in victory to achieve it

Today, we want to shine a spotlight on someone who embodies dedication, joy, and service in our church family. From the young age of 3, Briah Graves has been a cherished part of our community, sharing her gifts in ways that inspire us all!
Whether managing sound and lights, dancing with the Dance Ministry, or lending a helping hand wherever needed, Briah brings her heart and passion to every role. Her enthusiasm for our Toy Giveaway during the holidays is truly heartwarming! She enjoys dressing up as a character to delight the kids, but also treasures the smiles, and excitement of every child who receives a brand-new toy.
She learned from our Pastors that the key to volunteering is to "become a worshipper first before you become a worker." While it's tempting to dive into every opportunity, she advises focusing on 2-3 ministries that truly resonate with you and give it your best.
Her favorite Scripture, Jeremiah 29:11-13, reflects her hopeful spirit and dedication: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Thank you, Briah, for your servant's heart, your joyful spirit, and the love you pour into everything you do. We are truly blessed to have you in our New Life Christian Center Family! 💖🙌

“Do Not Throw Your Confidence Away”- by Dr. LaSalle R. Vaughn
Hebrews 10:32-36
“So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord.
Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”
Hold onto your faith. God didn’t bring any of us this far to leave us. The month of Av starts on Monday. Temuz and Av are very trying months. They are a time of testing a trials. Av is a roller coaster of emotions & feelings. God's calendar tells us where we are so we can deal with what’s happening.
Just because you don’t know something doesn’t mean that it’s wrong. The energy of the month is the wholeness of brokenness. Sometimes God breaks us too. He gets maximum usage of us when we are broken. Learn to be still and know He’s God. Area of healing this month: hearing. Listen to what is said and what is not said. Ask for clarification so you don’t misunderstand or assume things from what people say. Learn to listen with your heart, ears, and eyes. The tribe this month: Simeon ( the 2nd son of Leah) Genesis 29:33
Look for character development in you.
God wants us to have the concept that He is our Father. Romans 8:15-17
Father is one of the greatest titles he could’ve given a man because it’s a reflection of Him. God the Father is caring, competent, consistent, always faithful, and close to us. Sometimes when we go through things we feel alone and don’t think He’s close, but he is close to us.
Psalm 145:18 he is near to anyone who calls on him. The father has a responsibility to interact with the children and his wife. When you are abusive, absent, and distant, that doesn’t reflect our father well.
The enemy probably thought you wouldn’t make it as far as you have, he thought Temuz would have taken you out.
The first 9 days of Av, you should take it slow and reflect on yourself. Something has to break in your life because this is still your year. The enemy wants you to think you are not blessed and highly favored by God because he knows you are due to being a child of God. The Favor of God will make your struggle easier.
Psalms 84:11-12 Don’t throw away your bold faith.
Don’t wait until you’re in trouble before you take God seriously. Build up your praise, worship, and prayer life. God will take you through something to get us to something. And it can be much bigger than you’ve ever imagined. In life, we have pain & pleasure, good & bad times, victory & defeats, ups & downs, success & failures, but know that God is with you at every level and place you are in life.
1 Kings 20:23-28 When you are in the valley, know that God will fight for you and that He is in control.
Don’t let the devil wear you out during the month of Av. Wearing out of anything is gradual, it doesn’t happen all at once. Remember Av means father & even though Av is a roller coaster of emotions, know your Father is close to you and always with you. Do your best and let God do the rest.

“Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News.”
God knows everything about us, every little thing.
You can make it through what you’re going through.
Get rid of the weight so you can run your race. Check to see if you have anything that’s holding you back.
There are no perfect families, marriages, churches, pastors, people. Don’t try and focus your attention on what’s not perfect because you’re not perfect either.
The world around us, our flesh inside of us, & Satan who is against us, are always trying to mess us up. Satan is an accuser. We all have a devil to fight.
Four things may try to discourage you this month: 1. Pain, in your body or a relationship. 2. Pressure, from your job, family, finances. 3. Problems, one after another, small to big problems. 4. People, people can wear you out.
God wants us to build some resilience, to be able to bounce back. You will discover the inner strength in you, the power of The Lord, to overcome and bounce back. Only put your security in Jesus.
Don’t let your possessions possess you. Thank God for the people you have in your life.
God is more interested in your character than your comfort. He’s more interested in what you’re becoming than what you do.
God wants us to keep our faith moving forward. Get out of this “when and then” thinking. All we have is right now!
Our problems just help us to discover our inner strength. God wants us to have strong faith all the time.
Whatever you do, don't compare yourself with other people. Stop comparing yourself with other people. God hates pride. Hard times will pass, they may get you down but they won’t last forever.

“Always be full of joy in the Lord.

There’s nothing in your life that happens that you can’t grow from. The enemy likes to play with your mind, your mind is a battleground.
Don’t be a slave to your mind/ thoughts. Be a master of your thoughts. Don’t give into fear, be full of faith in the name of Jesus.

"Your Story is for God’s Glory” - by Dr. LaSalle R. Vaughn (7-7-24)
1 Corinthians 10:31 - "So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
Remember to give God the glory. God has a way of taking zeros and making heroes out of them. He takes ordinary people and uses them in extraordinary ways. God can use painful stories and messy stories, still, for His glory. It’s not about you, me, or us; it’s all about Him.
Psalm 115:1 - “'Not to us, O LORD, not to us, But to Your name give glory Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth and
faithfulness.”
God can turn bad stories around and use them for your good. Everything you’ve escaped, and the mere fact that you’re still here, is by the mercy of God.
You make the devil angry when you worship and praise God because it reminds him of what he used to do because it was his job to give God worship and Praise. It’s dangerous to not give God the glory when things happen in your life.
Acts 12:21-23, Isaiah 48:10-11
We must always be prayerful. We don’t know what the enemy has on the horizon. No matter what anyone does, we must follow Jesus. Give God the glory when you get through what you’re going through.
We need to live our lives for His glory. You give Him the glory, and He will give you the victory. Don’t miss God's best by not giving Him the glory. God is most glorified when you are most satisfied in Him.
Satan will come in a way to give you everything you want and dreamed of. You need to have wisdom and discernment, or you will be deceived.

Your service in our Hospitality ministry ensures that everyone feels welcomed and valued. From vacuuming the balcony on Friday nights to ushering with the daughters, you embody the spirit of humble service.
Beyond these roles, your commitment shines through in every task you undertake. Your invaluable support in transcribing for our Pastor's "Strengthening the Family" book and Key Players meetings demonstrates your dedication to spreading wisdom and guidance. Your involvement in the Helping Hands initiative and advocacy as a mental health wellness champion highlights your deep care for the holistic well-being of our community.
Yet, amidst all these responsibilities, you shine brightly as a Daughter.
