Hello everyone! I figured I would do a little introduction for those that do not know me. My name is Gina and I am a San Antonio hairstylist. I always wanted to be in fashion or beauty or the hair industry but I didn’t start off my career that way. I did several retail jobs, worked behind the desk, and then decided to go to the school. My stepmother is also a hairdresser, and it always interest me to follow that path. Once I started going to school, I found my passion for hair and the rest is history. I have worked in three different salons before finding my way to independent freedom. At the beginning of 2020 I decided that I wanted to branch off into my own and make Glam Girl Diaries official. I was on my way to being my own boss, and then the pandemic hit. Expecting it to be a complete flop, my clients were loyal and true, and followed me on my journey. Since then, I’ve been running my own business, doing hair and loving every minute of it. I have the best clients that have become some of my greatest friends. We have gone through so much together from birth to marriage to divorces to death. I know all the highlights and low points of their lives. I consider it a privilege that they trust me with not only their hair, but their personal lives. This is why I love what I do.

The time has come!!! I finally get to open my place & take clients!!!🎉🎉🎉
I have a list of my availability and as excepted they are going quick. I am accommodating everyone as quickly as I can. Be patient and I will get to everyone’s messages, texts, etc. I’m so excited to see everyone and welcome you to my new salon home!!!
Now with that said, of course precautions are & will be made. The salon is throughly cleaned before each day & throughout the day. We clean/sanitize after each client. Hands are being washed and gloves are changed with each client. Masks will be worn by EVERYONE.
Salon rules as we reopen:

1. Anyone with an appointment, must come alone. No guests/children allowed right now unless they have an appointment.
2.I am ONLY taking one client at a time right now.
3.clients will wait in their car until escorted back.

4.Everyone must wear a mask. If you do not have one, I will provide one for you.
I WILL NOT perform services on anyone
without a mask.
5.If you have a fever, cough, etc PLEASE just reschedule. I WILL NOT perform services on anyone with symptoms related to COVID-19. I have a thermometer & will take temperatures.
I have everyone’s health & safety in mind. Please be honest & considerate to me, my family, my coworkers & their family. 🙏🏼

In light of COVID-19, an ordinance mandates that non-essential businesses must be closed until April 30th. However, I am is still doing the following:

I am currently observing all guidelines from the CDC regarding cleaning and disinfecting the salon. I will continue to work diligently to protect my client
I am offering consultations via messaging & text until 4/30/2020.
I am also doing curbside pickup for color, products, and treatments.
All hair appointments are canceled by order of the Governor & City Mayor until 4/30/2020. I will be contacting you to reschedule your appointments.
We will be updating our policies to comply with all local, state, and national requests.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉

I don’t even know where to begin this. The last year has been an absolute roller coaster. Good and bad have happen. Gone through some personal life changing situations, left one salon and started at another. But the time has come for me to take the next step in my career. Starting next month, I’ve decided to be my own boss, take charge and do hair under The Glam Girl Diaries. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for some time now but totally unsure about doing it. I’m still freaking out a little but so completely stoked to do it. It’s been an adventure finding my way this past year & clearly out the DRAMA & NEGATIVE people. I can’t wait for everyone to see the new place. I love my job and my clientele. I am truly blessed to have such supportive people in my life. I have a new price list of everything & I’m starting to book up.
