For a New Lease on Life and Ease the discomfort of Varicose Veins: Move Your Body, Move your Legs

🦵Ultimately, increased physical activity can have a huge impact on easing your varicose vein symptoms by helping blood get to the heart. 🎚️The additional benefit of losing excess weight through continuous exercise is that it will also reduce added pressure on your veins and in turn help to alleviate pain.

🚶‍♀️🧘‍♀️🏊‍♂️The best exercises to combat the symptoms of varicose veins are low-impact, so it’s important to go gently if you suffer from vein disease. While exercise is a huge benefit to help prevent varicose veins and to help ease pain and discomfort associated with vein disease, the only way to truly STOP varicose veins is through professional consultation and treatment, after which you’ll be granted a new lease of life! We're here to help. Call for your appointment today! 210-622-8000

Don't Make these Common Mistakes When Choosing a Vein Doctor:

1. Neglecting to Ask Key Questions: Consider available treatment options, the best time for treatment, who will perform it, and whether insurance will cover it.

2. Choosing Outdated Techniques: Avoid surgical vein stripping or ligation. Opt for modern, less invasive treatments like Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), VenaSeal™ and Sclerotherapy.

3. Delaying Treatment: Varicose veins worsen over time and can lead to severe complications. Early treatment is safer and more effective.

4. Overlooking Doctor and Facility Credentials: Ensure the doctor is board-certified with expertise in venous conditions. The facility should uphold high standards in treatment and patient care.

5. Thinking Varicose Veins Are Only Cosmetic: Varicose veins are a medical issue. Most major insurance covers treatment when it’s medically necessary.

6. Not Consulting a Specialist: For accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, consult a specialist vein doctor.

For more information on making the best choices for your vein treatment, contact us today at 210-622-8000.
