Project MEND
Mobilizing our Communities. Project MEND takes in donations of used medical equipment. Oftentimes, this fee is covered by community agencies upon qualification.
We repair, refurbish and professionally sanitize the equipment and then inventory and warehouse it for redistribution to individuals living with disabilities. Equipment is available to low income persons at a cost of $20 application fee.
🥳 In the first 3 quarters of our fiscal year, Project MEND has collected 8,204 pieces of durable medical equipment.
That's 8,204 gently loved items saved from landfills, that have been repurposed, recycled, sanitized, refurbished, and given to those who now have improved mobility—all thanks to our wonderful donors. Thank you for helping us continue making a life-changing impact in our community. 🦽🧡
