If you have a loaner Windows laptop from NVC, the Microsoft outage may have affected you. If you are unable to login and facing technical issues, bring your loaner device to NVC to Juniper Hall, Rm 106 - Open Lab, between 8 am – 6 pm for help. Computer labs will be open for you to use until your computer use is restored.

Kudos to the NVC IT Team ⚡️💻! Their quick response in fixing the campus computer stations affected by the Microsoft Outage is nothing short of heroic!

➡️ NO ENTRY into the lobbies in MZH and MLH
➡️ DO NOT enter areas that are taped off. Areas will be blocked off for safety.
➡️ NO elevators will be available in either building for the duration of construction
➡️ NO after-hours access to MZH and MLH
➡️ NO A/C in MZH and MLH on Monday, June 17 and Thursday, June 20
➡️ DO reschedule any meetings or activities you have planned in that area
➡️ DO watch for communication from your instructor about classes you may have during these dates

Congratulations to Dr. Yolanda Reyes Guevara who has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar award to Germany for the 2024-2025 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. It’s part of the Fulbright International Education Administrators (IEA) Awards.

She will travel to Berlin and other destinations in Germany for two-week seminars abroad to learn about the country’s higher education system. Fulbright U.S. Scholars are faculty, researchers, administrators, and established professionals teaching or conducting research in affiliation with institutes abroad. Fulbright Scholars engage in cutting-edge research and expand their professional network, often continuing research collaborations started abroad and laying the groundwork for forging future partnerships between institutions.
