College Closure Notice: Happy Labor Day weekend, Palominos! 🇺🇸 Palo Alto College and the entire Alamo Colleges District will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2, to celebrate Labor Day. 🌟 The closure includes on-campus instruction and all remote operations and instruction.

Yesterday, Palo Alto College faculty, staff, and students celebrated the center's grand opening and explored the new space. 🎉 And congratulations to the PAC's Athletics Team for opening the newest hangout spot on campus for our Palominos! 👏

The Rec and Fitness Center is a space where PAC students, faculty, and staff can go to work out or play:

The center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Center Room 121. In order to use the facility, a waiver must be signed and student IDs must be presented.

Nine weeks of fun, laughter, and learning at our Palomino Adventure Youth Camp at the Ray Ellison Family Center has come to an end. 😞

And our little Palominos wrapped it up in style with a talent show! 🎤💃⭐ They dusted off their cowboy boots, wore their hats, and performed for their family and President Dr. Robert Garza, faculty, and staff. 🤠

On July 10, 2024, Palo Alto College and the U.S. Army began a partnership with the Future Soldier Program. 🤝 This program allows our future soldiers to receive personalized guidance from a PAC advisor and an on-campus San Antonio Army recruiter, which this guidance can help navigate a customized educational pathway for the soldiers.
