Unraveled - The Chic Yarn Boutique

80 years ago today, my Dad was in the midst of Operation Overlord, landing on what became known as “Bloody Omaha”. Many of his fellow soldiers drowned before getting to the beach. Many were shot and killed as they got to the beach. The sea water was red from all the sacrifices. Young men’s dead bodies strewn everywhere.

May we never repeat this scale of war again and may we never forget that our freedom we have today came at a huge cost in lives from The Greatest Generation.

My Dad was in the 29th, so I’ll close by saying, “29 Let’s Go!”

We are setting up today in Natalia, Texas for Gathering at the Mill! This fiber fest opens on April 4th at 10AM!

We are bringing a pop-up Red Stag Fibre trunk show and lots of The Plucky Knitter ! Since it’s Spring we will also be featuring many beautiful yarns in cotton and cotton blends!
