I’m so deeply honored to do what I do and make new friends through photography.

Cassie reached out almost 2 years ago about photographing her intimate wedding in April 2020. We spoke over the phone and I knew right away we would get along great! We planned for her ranch wedding and it was going to be beautiful with a keep ride up to this science cliff for the ceremony.

Like so many others, the wedding needed to be postponed due to the covid quarantine. Cassie and Chuck very much wanted their wedding to be in the midst of their family, and it couldn’t happen for several reasons for a long time. After many attempts to reschedule at their original location, they had to change their plans.

One thing that stayed the same throughout the changes in location and guest list was their desire to have as many things as possible that they could reuse in their home. Chuck is a talented woodworker and made their beautiful table and chairs. Cassie had her dress picked out for years and it is definitely “her” dress. Her ring is passed down from 2 generations. Chuck’s ring was custom made. Their venue was an air bnb that ended up looking very similar to their original location. Everyone that could be at their wedding was there. It was the perfect day.

It never gets old seeing a couple’s joy and love for each other on their wedding day. I love that it’s my job to capture these moments for them!

Remember that one time it snowed for days in San Antonio?! We had planned to reschedule this engagement session due to the weather, but then Zuly and I both thought it’d be cool if we could make it work...so we did! She got in touch with Patrick at work and we rushed out to take some pictures before dark. They both ended up wearing matching outfits that happen to go with their wedding colors! It was fun and freezing and definitely unforgettable. ❤️ Can’t wait until November!!
