The Longest ECMO Transport - JEMS AirMed International set out to complete a transport that most would consider impossible -- move an ECMO patient nearly 8,000 miles.

We stand with our nation in honoring those who served and died in the 9/11 attacks. While we will never forget the lives that were taken from us, we will also never forget the courageous acts that were carried out by those who put themselves in harm’s way to save people they never knew. Today, on the 20th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks, we salute our emergency responders, frontline workers, medical personnel, our men and women in uniform and all who serve in the medical transport industry. You were our heroes on 9/11, and you remain our heroes today.

Happy EMS Week. This last year, EMS has been on the frontlines of the pandemic, multiple hurricanes, wildfires and so much more. Thank you to our teams for all you do. Throughout EMS week, take some time to reflect, share stories, celebrate and know that each one of you are valued and appreciated. We truly are stronger together.
