Saphire Mendez (Judge) is very excited to be making their Overtime debut. Favorite acting credits include “Emma” in Over the River and Through the Woods, “Masha” in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, and their ATAC award winning performance as “Lavinia Penniman” in The Heiress at San Antonio College. Ahmed Hussain (Inspector) is a student at UTSA and a dedicated actor with a profound passion for theatre. Born and raised in New Delhi, India, he was inspired by his teachers who taught him acting and poem recitation in middle school. Ahmed has showcased his talent in various Hindi plays, including Khula Pinjra (Open Cage), Monihara, and Vijay Tendulkar's Khamosh! Adalat Jari Hai (Silence! The Court is in Session). He is excited to be part of his first production in the US.

Brandon Prince (Lt. Hess) has twin Bachelor of the Arts degrees in both Classical and Women’s Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. A disabled veteran with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Brandon is formerly a paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division. He is making his return to the theater after nearly two decades away. In his free time he likes to consort with katydids and rub noses with foxglove roses in deep repose. A past credit of his would be appearing as “Henry David Thoreau” in an early Crystal Sea Drama Company production called Little Women.

Emma Kuplack (Emma) studied Shakespeare at Mount Saint Mary’s University and is currently seeking a degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University. Her love of acting began at Crystal Sea Drama Company where she appeared as “Young Louisa May Alcott” in Little Women Of Orchard House and pursued all aspects of theater. She continued to pursue acting throughout high school, appearing in Twelfth Night as “Malvolio” and growing her passion for Shakespeare. After a five-year long absence from the stage, she is hoping to continue pursuing her passion and love of theater.

The Overtime Theater is proud to announce auditions for the new holiday play "The Perfect Gift" written by Susan Cain McQuilkin. This production will be directed by Mark McCarver. When the Dugan’s already strained Christmas Eve is further complicated by a stranger’s arrival, they are forced to reexamine their lives. A story of the lies we tell ourselves and the ways we cope with our circumstances.

Auditions will take place at The Overtime Theater on Saturday, September 7th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and Sunday, September 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Performances will run weekends December 6th – December 28th. It is recommended to bring a prepared monologue, but sides will be provided as well.

Jonathan Cordaway (Irving Walters) is a 20-year-old actor from San Antonio. Jonathan is currently a student at San Antonio College, and this is his first production at the Overtime Theater. You may have seen him in SAC's production of A Monster Calls (Conor) and Moon Over Buffalo (Paul). Other credits include Hamlet (Hamlet), The Spongebob Squarepants Musical (Mr.Krabs), and The Outsiders (Ponyboy). In the future, he plans to transfer to Texas State and he wishes to pursue a career in TV/Film. Jonathan would like to thank his mother Angela for always being by his side.
